FABULOUS LARGE 4 BEDROOM HOUSE WITH STUNNING VIEWS FOR FAR LESS FOR BEING A FEW MINUTES FURTHER AWAY. THIS PROPERTY MAY INCLUDE AT A NOMINAL CHARGE A RESERVED PARKING SPACE IN THE CENTER OF ASPEN.
VILLA VALLEY HIGH, on a bluff above the Cozy Point Ranch, a rustic equestrian facility just outside Snowmass Village and close to Aspen, enjoys stunning views of the mountains from all rooms, including views across the valley and all the way to Aspen and to Independence Pass beyond. Our guests will stay in a luxuriously appointed and comfortable home for the cost of a small old condo in Aspen. Our property is just above the traffic light at Highway 82 and the entrance to Snowmass Village, and just a short drive to Aspen. In contrast to Aspen homes, the property has all day sun, and all our rooms are above ground.
The 4400sf home is elegantly furnished with traditional mountain contemporary style furniture. It has all the best features, including a chef’s stainless steel kitchen made for family dinners and entertaining, with a large Sub Zero refrigerator and Viking stove, and twin dishwashers. There are beautiful hardwood floors and rugs throughout, and wainscoted walls and ceiling. The huge living room can seat a house full of people, and has a cathedral ceiling, a fireplace, and a 52 inch HDTV with a DVR. For informal entertaining, there also is a large family room which has a 46 inch HDTV with a DVR. There also are TVs in each of the four bedrooms. The master bedroom and family room also have fireplaces. The property has 700sf of decks facing the view, with outdoor furniture for sunny afternoons.
Each bedroom is furnished with expensive highest quality bed coverings and throw pillows, 600+ thread count linens, and sumptuous towels.
There is a high speed wireless internet connection to keep you in touch from afar.
The property is 5 minutes from the Aspen airport, 15 minutes to downtown Aspen and the Aspen Mountain gondola, 8 minutes to Buttermilk Mountain, 12 minutes to Aspen Highlands, and 8 minutes to Snowmass Mountain (actual driving times). A park & ride for free continuous municipal bus service is ¼ mile away, serving all 4 ski areas, the center of Aspen, the airport, etc., just about anywhere you might like to go. The bus can be a great solution, rather than trying to park in Aspen or at the ski mountains where parking is limited.
The 4 or so year old town recreation center, located 5 minutes away, is available to use for a modest fee. It has an outdoor swimming pool, cardio fitness equipment, high end weight machines, and even a basketball court. You will find it to be one of the best and most luxurious municipal fitness and recreational centers anywhere.
From the house at night, enjoy what is very rare today, a view of a dark sky full of stars and the Milky Way. This is due to there being very little light pollution outside of Aspen, and at close to 8000 feet elevation, the air is very clear. Under a full moon reflecting off the snow, the entire valley is illuminated, creating a surreal nocturnal landscape. You will have a memorable and truly unique experience.
OUR RESERVED PARKING SPACE IN ASPEN MAY BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR EXCLUSIVE USE AT A NOMINAL WEEKLY COST OF $100. IT IS LOCATED ON MONARCH STREET BETWEEN HYMAN AND COOPER AVENUES, RIGHT NEAR “RESTAURANT ROW”. PARKING IN ASPEN, DURING SKIING OR DURING THE EVENING, CAN OTHERWISE BE A HASSLE AND EXPENSIVE. OUR COOK MAY BE AVAILABLE TO PREPARE DELICIOUS MEALS AT HOME AT AFFORDABLE COST.
Rates listed are for a maximum of 4 couples occupying the 4 beds. Additional guests can be accommodated on portable beds at a surcharge. Special reduced rates may be available for small parties.
