Clara’s Country Estate has been custom-built in the architectural style of General Vallejo’s home in a fantastic private setting. Native oaks, madrone and manzanita surround the property. Lush lawn, mature citrus trees, expansive broad verandas, and a beautiful in-ground pool and spa surrounded by a large patio maximize your enjoyment of the beautiful Sonoma Valley climate and vistas.
With 4 generously sized bedrooms, and 6 full bathrooms, this fantastic two-story home can more than comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.
Antique and period furnishings and decor add to the charm and ambiance of the home with every necessary modern amenity available.
Downstairs, you will find a large foyer, flanked by a family room and the expansive gourmet kitchen on one side and formal living and dining room on the other. Bow windows, a wood stove and fireplace and two full bathrooms, both with showers, are downstairs as well.
Up the dramatic staircase you will find the bedrooms:
• The master with king sized bed, sitting area and a door out to the balcony, bow windows, walk-in closet, attached office space, and bath with double sinks and shower with seating area.
• The suite with gas fireplace, king size four poster bed, bath with tub/shower and an attached screened porch.
• The serene green bedroom with queen sized bed and lovely bath with tub/shower and extensive carrara and jade marble.
• The fourth bedroom with king sized bed, attached bath with tub shower and granite countertop, walk-in closet and door to the balcony.

We had a great time at this home. The large bedrooms and many bathrooms made it easy for our group to spread out comfortably. While it is traditionally styled, the home has a clean, fresh feel, is free of clutter and has a great kitchen with everything you need. Pool was excellent in a tranquil setting with lots of patio space for eating and playing. Owners are very kind and attentive.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I stayed at this property with a group of friends from 5/17 - 5/19. The house was immaculately clean and completely furnished. The owners had thought of everything, from towels, to dishes, to the every intricate detail that you wouldn't expect to see in a rental property. One of my friends mentioned that this place had accessories (such as makeup remover) that she didn't even stock at her own house. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were also wonderful. Plenty of parking and very peaceful. We can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

I celebrated my 50th birthday up in Sonoma, and this place was ground zero for the ten of us celebrating. we spent lots of time around the pool and hot tub... very secluded... the grounds are lovely, the bedrooms are huge (only topped by the magnificent walk-in showers) and the kitchen is well equipped. And while you could stay here all weekend, if you need to get to downtown sonoma it's only 10-15 minutes away by car. I cannot recommend this place more highly for a large group on a celebratory getaway.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
