Affordable luxury in our newly renovated Kuau Beach House. Located at the end of a col du sac and just steps from the beach, this is the perfect spot for a serene North Shore Maui vacation.
Sip your morning coffee on the lanai while checking the waves, bike to Paia town for shopping, walk to Mama's Fish House for a sunset cocktail. All of these are just some of the many possibilities right out the front door. Kuau is also an excellent place for windsurfing, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming.
Relatively new house with completely new remodel 2011/2012. Beautifully furnished, new appliances, hard wood floors.

The pictures for this house do not do it justice. It's has the most amazing light and a killer view of the ocean. It's a short walk into Paia and a great location for exploring the island. We were a group of eight and had plenty of room and privacy. Kitchen was stocked for a chef and we had every utensil we needed. This place was designed with love. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I visited the week after New Years 2012 with my wife and 3 kids - two teenagers and a 5 yr old. The house is in a very nice, quiet (except for New Year's eve :-) neighborhood, just a few minutes down the highway from the center of Paia and really close to Mama's Fish House. The space was beautiful, clean and spacious, and you could hear the surf the main living space. Great (!!) views of the surf and the western mountains from the lanai. We fit easily into the space, with my 5 yr old sleeping on a small chaise in the master bedroom. Really nice large master suite, other bedroom is pretty snug. We would definitely recommend it, especially for parties of 4 or less, otherwise you have to get creative. We were totally comfortable with our arrangement though. Minor nits - hall bathroom needs a window covering, no microwave, no washer/dryer in unit (but we found out after that there was a washer/dryer in the other half of the unit that we could have used). Also, there is beach access right outside the place, but it's not suitable for swimming (at least not for a 5 yr old). There were a few different places to access the beach in walking distance, one of them might have been better.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
