About the owner: My wife and I married in 1959. I am currently retired, but my woodworking hobby shows in the handmade furnishings in the house. Her knitting skills are on display through the house. Our three children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren enjoy playing in the snow and hiking the woods.
Why the Owner Chose South Fork: After years of hiking the national forest and wilderness area, we vacationed in Lake City. When departing we went through South Fork, saw and fell in love with the town and this house. Here we have everything.
The Unique Benefits at this House: We enjoy the quiet, feeding the deer in the yard in the fall, and being in the mountains. All the activities we enjoy are here, most at no additional cost. Even though the house is located in a subdivision, it seems to be very remote. We also have some of the best, most helpful neighbors in the world
