  My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this unit at Christmas! The unit is very nice and is in a wonderful location. Close to everything! My only complaint was that it did need a good cleaning. But that would not stop me from renting the unit again! We had also stayed here before the renovation and it was nice then too.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

  We rented this condo for my husband and myself along with our two boys (ages 1 & 8). The beach was not crowded at all due to it being a smaller condo complex, which was great. There were plenty of children for our older son to play with during the week. There were toys and beach chairs available for us to use, which saved us $$ for chair/umbrella rentals. The unit had everything we needed, especially a short walk down to the beach. The owners are great and were always availble to answer any of our questions. We would definitely come back to this unit. It was the perfect size for our family!!!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crystal Sands in Destin, Florida. The view from this ground floor unit was gorgeous. Waking up every morning and seeing the crystal clear emerald waters was so relaxing. We enjoyed the convenience of easy meals in the full kitchen and grilling outside as well. The sleeping accomodations were perfect for us. We also enjoyed a few nights of watching movies on the DVD player. The outside pool was great as well. We loved the location of Crystal Sands along the beach and away from the busier areas but at the same time being close to wherever we wanted to go. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We had some wonderful seafood too, Dewey Destin's was the best. We loved our stay and found this unit perfect for our family. The owner, Tami, was not only very accommodating to our needs but also wonderful to work with and very accommodating to our needs. We look forward to visiting this unit again and would highly recommend our stay in Destin to friends and family.

  The unit was clean, and right on the beach! Could you ask for anything more?! We had a great time just lounging on the beach and exploring the town. It was a bit overcast and too cool to get in the water, but I will definitely be back and reccommend this unit to my friends!

  Crystal Sands is always a beautiful choice. We have stayed at Crystal Sands East and West for 20+ years. Beach and atmosphere can't be beat in Destin. This unit has really nice furniture, bed is very comfortable. The cleanliness was terrible for the third time. I gave them a second and third chance. Nothing got better, only worse. It's such a shame. The unit was filthy with weeks and weeks worth of dirt and dust; shower, floors, tables, fridge!!!! Just stay in a different unit at Crystal Sands! Do Yourself a Favor!!!

  Owner response: Do not judge this unit by an unfavorable review. First of all, this building is only 15 years old and I have owned my unit for the entire time, so she has not been staying here for 20+ years. Also, the cleanliness has not been terrible for the third time. I survey each of my guests and she only mentioned a dirty mirror and a bit of dust prior to this stay. This time the unit had been cleaned just 2 days prior to her arrival. There was definitely not weeks of dust and dirt! Some people just can not be satisfied! As you can see by the other responses no one else has been dissatisfied. You be the judge. I have many "happy customer" surveys and I attend to any suggestions to make the unit more inviting and comfortable for my guests. It has recently been upgraded and redecorated and has a lovely tropical West Indies feel which is very relaxing for your beach vacation. Come enjoy the sun and the sand and smell the ocean as the waves roll in right outside your door! You will not be disappointed!

  I am a local, having lived here most of my life. I wanted to treat my daughter and the love of her life, who were coming into town for a visit. So, I have the luxury of getting to see what is available and not depending upon pictures. The condo is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The furniture looks new. What I really love about this condo is that it directly faces the beach. Many of the condos that I visited appeared to face the water but when I got there, was faced at an angle. This unit is on the beach and facing the water. My daughter loved her stay and I was very pleased with the price and the condo.

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crystal Sands in Destin, Florida. This ground floor unit had the most gorgeous view of the lovely dunes, crystal sand and beautiful blue ocean. We shopped for groceries and completely enjoyed the convenience of easy evening meals in the full kitchen and leisurely mornings with our coffee on the patio while watching the waves! The sleeping accomodations were perfect for our family of 5 and the children took turns sleeping in the bunks. The beach chair service is a huge plus and we were always able to find a wonderful spot to enjoy the beach all day long. We loved the location of Crystal Sands along the beach and away from the busy Destin retail area. It was private and not crowded. We were truly able to relax and enjoy our stay! When we ventured out it was just a short drive to any activity, neighboring seaside town, or great restaurants! We loved our stay and found this unit perfect for our family! Above all, the owner, Tami, has been so very kind, wonderful to work with and very accommodating to our needs. We look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend our stay in Destin to friends and family. Thank you!

  We have never seen such beautiful white sand. The ocean was great. I can walk out the door and smell the salt and feel the ocean breeze and walk down the steps to feel the sand! Your condo couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Anything you could need is all right here. We suggest going to the Veranda Restaurant at Henderson Park Inn. It was incredibly romantic and definately the best meal I have ever had.

  This is our 6th time at Crystal Sands. Your unit is lovely. Had all the necessities that we needed. Furnishings lovely, as always our vacation passed too quickly. Can't wait to return again even though the drive is over 1000 miles for us.

  Our 3rd winter in your unit is over. Another great year. We love it here but are anxious to head to Michigan. And.....we will be back for the 2003 winter.
