My family had a great time. The beds were comfortable and it had every thing we needed. The only thing is I thought it could have been a little cleaner. The couch cushions were very sandy and the faucets on all the sinks were not cleaned well. Nothing I couldn't correct quickly myself but shouldn't have had to. I would stay again as we love being so close to the beach and water.

This is our 2nd time staying at this Beachfront Penthouse. It is just perfect, in a perfect location. We mainly cookout and stay on the beach the entire week. We did go to John's Pass to shop a little and enjoy the view from Scully's deck. We also took a boat ride with Shelling Snorkel, it was super inexpensive. We saw an amazing Dolphin show, walked Egmont Key island, and did some snorkeling. The condo is super clean, spacious and the decor makes for a relaxing atmosphere. I plan to book this place again next year!!

Very nice condo, location was great. Walked to Caddie's and Ka Tiki. The beach was beautiful and the pool was a great alternative. An older crowd at the condo development which was fine, no Spring Breakers to deal with. All were extremely friendly and helpful! DeSoto Park is a great destination - we went kayaking and had two dolphins swim right by us in a cove as well as stingrays and lots of birds. The beaches there were beautiful, lots of parking, bathrooms, food, etc. Just a few observations, nothing to deter from our week - the carpet in the condo was a little worn. We were surprised to find one of the two baths downstairs - that could have been a misunderstanding from our part. We expected to have a bathroom attached to both upstairs bedrooms but we managed! Weather was a little cooler than we had hoped for but at least we missed the latest snowstorm back home!

The Sunset Chateau was a most memorable family vacation. The condo was very clean and located in the perfect location. My family and I were very pleased with everything that this unit had to offer. What was most pleasing to us was the customer service Liz provided us. Not only was she concerned about our stay and that everything met our expectations; she went way beyond our expectations by offering us additional nights at a reduced rate due to our flight being cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. I would highly recommend renting from Liz again, and we plan on doing so when we schedule our next trip to Treasure Island. If only everyone had the compassion that Liz has and the concern that her renters have the best possible experience; everyone would come home with the memories my family and I experienced during our vacation. Thank you so much Liz, you are the best! Dave B.

In total we liked this Condo a lot. The view was great and we had everything we needed. The furniture were marked with some traces of use, which is normal, but they were some kind of dirtiness (couch). When we arrived, there were black hairs (we guess from the housekeeping) everywere in the condo (on the bed, an the towles, on the floor..)

602 was a large, very comfortable unit with unbelievable views. It was stocked with everything we needed, plenty of towels etc. Sunset Chateau was a great place to stay with friendly people and good amenities. We love Sunset Beach because it is quiet and not crowded and we will be coming back again as soon as we can.

this place was great! the view from the balcony on the 7th floor was spectacular---we watched the sunset every night. the condo was extremely well equiped with every thing you would need for cooking and the beach. the condo is just south of Caddy's on the beach ---a popular bar and restaurant and fun place within easy walking distance. the listing description was extremely acurate in regards to location and amenities. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. I can't wait to go back!

This condo was even nicer and more spacious than the pictures show. All you can see from the windows is the ocean itself. The kitchen is well stocked. Up to date television, DVD player, and stereo. Beautiful artwork adorns the walls. The upstairs bedrooms give you lots of privacy when you are downstairs which is really nice if you come with a child, especially in the evenings and mornings. Also, we really liked the location of this condo. It is near a PUblix and the bridge, but in a quiet area with lovely properties.

The description is accurate. The pictures don't do it justice. The place is even nicer in person. I've stayed at another condo in the same building, this one by far is much nicer and newly updated. The beds were comfy, the baths clean, the kitchen well stocked with every type of dish/ utensil you would ever need, and the decor just outstanding. There were lounge chairs, board games, books, etc. I'm definitely looking into coming back next year!!

We spent 4 lovely nights at the Sunset Chateau. We had dolphins swimming about 30 ft away from us on the beach and saw the most amazing sunsets we've ever seen! This was a nice time to go because it wasn't very busy either. The unit really is beautifully decorated but we could'nt take our eyes off the water! There were 2 things I did hope for though; there were only 4 or 5 each of beach and bath towels which wasn't nearly enough and the sheets for the beds didn't fit the bed properly and weren't nice either (I really appreciate nice bedding after a long day) We had no issues on our stay so we never had to contact the owner but they did keep in touch by email to be sure our stay was going well. Although Treasure Island was pretty quiet, there is so much to do in the area. We didn't have time to explore all there is. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and I hope to come back soon!! Thank you!

Wonderful stay in this penthouse. Decor and art work was very, very nice. Beautiful views of the beach and sunsets. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Condo was very comfortable and clean. We especially liked the spacious bedrooms and storage with master bedroom having a private balcony and the guest bedroom with a view of the Boca Ciega Bay. Nice touch having a formal dining room. Had guests for dinner and it was convenient with the pass-thru window from the kitchen and having nice matching dishes and placemats and glassware. Used the beach chairs and umbrella and the tables near the grills. Liked Caddy's on the beach for a coffee break after our morning beachwalks, and had dinner there several times. Nice we could walk on the sidewalk to Caddy's and in the other direction walk on the sidewalk to the end of Gulf Blvd, where there was a boardwalk around the end of the island and the channel that went out to the gulf. Saw a manatee and watch the dolphins from our condo balcony. Would recommend others enjoy a stay in this penthouse.

Only issues were seeing 5 or so coachroaches. Shower in the upstairs bathroom drained very slowly. Stood in ankle deep water after showering, and stayed there for aleast 7-10 minutes to drain. Great location, excellent views, would recommend the restaurant "Leverock" in St Petes. I would stay here again.

Owner response: This is the season when we start to see the Palmeto bugs come out. The building and condo are treated regularly, and we've never had any on-going issues. We will have our pest control people come out and make sure the condo is taken care of. Thank you for letting us know about the tub, we'll get that drain cleared right away!

We go to Florida every year. This was our 1st stay on Treasure Island. The condo overall was nice. The kitchen was well stocked. The decor was nice, it is obvious upgrades are being done or have been done. Beach chairs and coolers were included. The area is a little isolated with a long long walk or drive to most places, the walk via beach is beautiful but if you walk via the road it is not so nice. The only tv is in the living room. The only private balcony is off the main bedroom. There is no washer and dryer in the unit, however you do have access to a pay for one on the floor. The pool was nicely heated, but small and had no chairs. The beach in this area is nice and quiet, not lots of activity. There are lots of shells to choose from, if you like to look for shells, but not so many you don't enjoy the sand. Sunsets were beautiful! Sounds of the ocean amazing!

Booked these accommodations through Liz & Charles from iTrip.Net. From start to finish their service was first-rate. The accommodations are very comfortable and tasteful with an exquisite view. Building/complex is immaculate. If I don't purchase Real Estate in this area, would return and stay at this lovely property.
