The unit is tastefully decorated, providing a place to relax and enjoy when you are not at the beach or the pool. As you enter, you will be greeted by a sunny, open floor plan with the living room opening to the dining area, kitchen, and breakfast bar. The living room is equipped with a new 42 inch LCD TV, as well as a DVD/VHS player with a library of movies for your viewing pleasure. The unit comfortably accomodates up to 3 people, with a king bed in the large bedroom and a queen-size sleep sofa in the living room. The bedroom has a spacious walkin closet. For ease of access, the bathroom opens into the hallway, instead of the bedroom. The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator, new dishwasher, new dishes and utensils suitable for cooking all types of meals. Enjoy a meal or quick snack at the bar stools while taking in the beautiful view through the living room sliding glass doors of the palm trees around the pool. Included in our furnishings are beach chairs and beach towels for our guests' use. WiFi is available throughout the unit, as well as at the clubhouse and at both pools.
Within the complex there are 2 pools (front pool is heated in winter), tennis courts, lawn swings, a children's playground, gas and charcoal grills and chairs around the lake for watching and feeding the ducks. The clubhouse includes a business center with wireless internet and fax availability, a well-equipped fitness room with weights, treadmill and other exercise equipment, coin-operated washers and dryers for guests' use, and a wrap-around porch with rocking chairs positioned to enjoy the view of the ducks and fountain in the lake. A separate laundry facility exists with coin-operated washers and dryers for guests' use.
St Simons Island is one of the most charming and friendly vacation destinations on the Georgia coast. The Ocean Walk condos are centrally located on the island, just 1/2 mile from the Village/Pier area and less than a mile from the beach. Ocean Walk is 1/2 mile from the St Simons Village, where there are lots of shops, great restaurants, and fishing at the Pier. The island is home to three golf courses and numerous shady bike paths. A shady sidewalk/bike path connects the property to the Village and to other parts of the island. Bring your own bike or take advantage of renting at one of several nearby bike rental shops.

About the owner: My husband and I have enjoyed vacationing on St. Simons Island frequently each year for the past 35 years, with the plan to own property there once we retired. We have both recently retired and were thrilled to find this condo available in such a well-maintained complex. We plan to continue to spend time on the island enjoying the beach, walking, biking, shopping, and dining in our favorite restaurants.
