  Had a wonderful time in Mrytle Beach. Thanks for the use of your condo, it is lovely, well maintained and clean. This was our second stay here and certainly will be booking again next year.

  JUST RETURNED FROM RENTING LORI'S CONDO, FIRST OF ALL I THOUGHT IT WAS OCEAN FRONT BUT IT WAS OCEAN VIEW.. YOU HAVE TO WALK THROUGHT PARKING GARAGE TO GET TO BEACH OR POOLS. FURNITURE WAS WORE AND DATED, LAMPS WITH NO LIGHT BULBS. NOW LORI WANTS TO CHARGE ME FOR KING SIZE SHEETS THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE STAINED BY US. I TOOK OWN SHEETS SO I DIDNT EVEN USE HER SHEETS. FEEL LIKE I JUST GOT SCAMED OUT OF A SET OF SHEETS TO REPLACE HER WOREN ONES. RENTER BEWARE....DONT LOOK TO GET ANY DEPOSIT BACK, BUT WONT BE RENTING FROM LORI AGAIN,

  Owner response: As a property manager we always strive to make sure our condo is in great condition, as you can see from other reviews, and, that everything is in working order. During our renters stay, we are always available if an issue comes up, or if something is not satisfactory, so we can address any issues right away. As most owners, we do not live in the city where our rental property is located. We rely on our cleaning service to be our eyes and ears and report any damage, as well report if anything is not working properly. Our cleaning service is always a phone call away to go to the condo and make things right. We collect a refundable security deposit to ensure that our condo keys are returned, and also to cover any damages to the condo that may be reported. We have never withheld anyone’s security deposit. Only on the rare occasions where something has been reported to be damaged, or missing, we have unfortunately had to adjust a renters deposit to cover these cost. Our goal is to make your vacation stay at our condo an enjoyable experience by providing you with a clean, well maintained condo at an affordable price and hopefully you will return to our condo in the future.

  I own and manage two properties on VRBO. So I have been on the other end of the transaction about a 1000 times (literally) So I know what owners go through, and I think I know what I am looking for and this place delivered. The value received for the dollars spent was exceptional. The condo was clean and everything was there that was supposed to be there and it worked well. The real test of a homeowner is not what happens when things go right, but what happens when things go wrong. My daughter lost one of the two keys to this home. They were high security keys (which I thought was a good thing, as I KNEW there were no extra keys floating about and my family and belongings were safe) This cost the owner more money than a regular lockset. So since I could not get a key made, we were down to one key for the weekend. I was real careful always leaving the key in the lockset so I could not lock myself out. You can only imagine how bummed I was to be at dinner and discover that my wife decided to take that key out and set it on the counter, and now on a friday night at 9:30 we were locked out of our condo. What a relief to make a frantic phone call to the owner, and leave a message and have them actually get back to me within an hour, and have their housekeeping staff come over on a friday night at 10:30 at night and let me back in the room. Add to that that we were in a baseball tournament at Ripken Fields and our sons team made the championship game, meaning we had to be at the fields at 9:00 AM, and play all day. Getting packed up and out of the room would have pretty much meant we spent our saturday night packing so we could be out of the condo and too the fields. Since no one had rented the home, Lori let us have a late checkout and come back and pack up after the afternoon game. And or deposit got returned in a timely manner, with just a 10.00 deduction for the key we lost. I would recommend these property owners as good people to work with. It's not always about the property you rent. It frequently comes down to the property owners that make the difference in your stay. Thanks Lori!

  Our family stayed at Lori's Compass Cove condo this summer for the second time. This time we stayed for two weeks and probably could've stayed for the rest of the summer. The condo had everything we needed and we felt very much at home. There is so much for the kids to do and the grown-ups enjoy sitting and watching the waves roll in from the balcony. The staff at Compass Cove is always very friendly and helpful when necessary. The breakfast buffet downstairs is affordable and very tasty. We also enjoyed the entertainment at the Crow's Nest in the evenings....very family friendly resort! We'll definitely be back next summer!

  Our family has nothing but positive things to say about our vacation at Compass Cove. This was our forth time staying at this resort but the first time that we have rented from VRBO. It was a pleasure to deal with Lori in renting her condo. We are looking forward to the opportunity to rent again in the future.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Compass Cove. The kids were always busy and there was always something to do. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, 24 hours a day! The staff at Compass Cove was very helpful and friendly. The condo was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely consider staying here again.

  This 2 bedroom condo was wonderful! Very clean & spacious. Everything you need is there! Washer & Dryer was great to have! The amenities were fabulous! The kids were busy all day with the pools, lazy rivers & of course, the beach! I would most definitly recommend this property to anyone looking for a vaction destination. We'll be back!!

  Loved your condo, spent a week there in October weather was great. Condo is lovely, well kept, very clean with plenty of space. Loads of ammenties at the resort. Great location, we will be back.

  Your condo is beautiful. The resort was wonderful with all the pools, hot tubs and lazy river rides. The kids loved the daily activities. The resort is in a great location, close to everything but away from the hussle & bussle. We will be booking again for sure next year. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your condo.
