Wake up to views of Winter Park Ski runs and watch the lifts warm up to start the day. Wear your ski boots and walk across the street where the complimentary bus ride (winter season only) takes you 1/3 mile directly to the base of Winter Park where you can spend a magical day on the snowy Winter Park and Mary Jane Ski Areas. Return on the same bus and enjoy either a private or public hot tub or sauna and watch the lifts stop running for the day while the sun drops behind the mountains.
This newly remodeled condo features all the amenities needed for a vacation on the mountain at beautiful Winter Park. With a gas fireplace in the living room and another in an upstairs bedroom, this condo is a romantic getaway that can include privacy while accommodating a group of six. The master bedroom has it's own private hottub, wet bar, large screen TV with a pillow-top King size bed. Enjoy the views of the mountain from the highest room! The master bedroom has a connecting private bathroom where the hot tub, dual sinks and shower are located.
This unit can sleep 6 with a KING size bed upstairs, a QUEEN in a bedroom downstairs and the couch makes out into a FULL bed in the living room.
Our kitchen is complete with everything you need to make yourself at home: Microwave, popcorn popper, tea pot, coffee maker, and fully stocked with dishes and all the pots and pans you need to prepare meals at home.
Off of the kitchen is a balcony with views of ski runs on the Winter Park side and a grill is provided for grilling out anytime of the year. The living area has a large flat screen TV, surround sound and a gas fireplace that makes it so cozy you’ll want to stay in on cold days and enjoy a good book.
The condo proper provides cable, free wi-fi, a large hot tub, sauna, and industrial-sized washers and dryers for large loads just downstairs from our unit.
Winter Park Place Condos are located in Old Town Winter Park across the street from the best ski rental shop with the best prices. Next door is a restaurant/bar "Adolf's Bar" that is a popular place to visit. The ski bus that picks up in front of the condo takes you to the base at Winter Park, where you can walk through the village at Winter Park enjoying the shops. Or you can catch another bus to downtown Winter Park where you can shop, enjoy the mountain restuarants, pick up groceries at Safeway, or catch a movie.
This unit is smoke-free and pet-free. For those of you who have never skiied at Winter Park, there is a train that comes through the entire valley and can be heard from all the places of residence throughout Winter Park. All our guests who stay in the bedroom downstairs don't seem to hear it at night. The upstairs bedroom allows some sound in, although in the winter, it's muffled from the snow. If you are a light sleeper, you may choose to either sleep downstairs or bring some earplugs just in case. We apologize for the noise, but everyone is afflicted with this at Winter Park and we wanted you to be prepared for it when you come so it isn't a problem, whether you stay with us or not.
To make a reservation: two days deposit is required with the balance remaining due one week before your arrival date.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week with our friends (another couple) for a ski trip. This condo was perfect! The pictures don't do it justice; it's beautiful and the views are great! You can't beat the location for the price. It's a corner unit on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It overlooks the main slope and base of the ski resort. It is literally right across the street from the bus stop that takes you directly to the slopes...just a few minutes, it's the closest stop to the resort. It is also right next door to Alpine Sun Ski and Sport, which is a family-operated ski shop that is great for rentals, so friendly! We particularly enjoyed the kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed, the grill on the patio, the cable with HBO and OnDemand movies, the free Wi-Fi that was super-reliable, and the hot tub in the master suite. I also really enjoyed the fact that the entire condo was heated by the 2 gas fireplaces (one in the living room on the main floor, the other in the master bedroom on the top floor). There is also a ski storage closet right outside the front door, which is very convenient. The owners are so nice, professional, and accomodating! We couldn't ask for much more. We will definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.

I took my family here over the Christmas holidays. Surpassed all expectations! It was clean, thoughtfully decorated and perfectly located. And Kim and Terry were just a phone call away with a helpful answer or two. I've stayed on the slopes (ski-in/ski-out) in some other places, and in many ways this was even better. Being able to fully dress in the condo, walk down to the street in your boots with your skis, get on the bus and be dropped at the lift a few minutes later was so so painless. And this arrangement meant that each of us could go at his/her own pace each day, arriving and departing from the slopes whenever it suited each of us, even my 13-year old daughter. Felt totally safe in Winter Park. (More than I can say for how I felt on some of those black diamond mogul runs!). Absolutely recommended--and will return.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

condo is just was described. The condo has been updated nicely and very clean with everything you need to feel at home. Great place for a family to stay. ski bus runs regularly, only about a 5 min ride (could walk if you really wanted to), cheap ski rental place next door (even will give free ski rentals for kids under 9 with the purchase of adult skis), little bar next door is good and inexpensive. I slept upstairs and never heard the train....and I am a very light sleeper. Old town my not be the "happening" place in winter park but I think this area is great for families looking for a laid back vacation that is very close to the resort. If we ever come back to the are I would stay here again without a second though.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

About the owner: I have been living full-time in this condo for the past five years and are currently building a new home in Granby, Colorado; just 25 miles north of Winter Park. I have remodeled everything in this condo between skiing, hiking, boating, golfing and diving!

My family has been vacationing in this area for the past 20 years. There is so much to do that this is the perfect place to live!

I love to wake up every morning and open the blinds and look out the glass doors and see the ski runs white with snow and the lifts churning up the mountain to get ready for the ski day. At night I can watch the lifts come to a stop and then see the groomers working on the trails grooming for the next day.
