  Our 2 weeks at cocoview villa was absolutely wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The 4 of us stayed in the palm suite which was beautiful. We spent alot of our time on the wrap around veranda, sitting on the swings, taking in the breath taking view of the ocean. We enjoyed freshly squeezed grapefruit juice that we made ourselves from the grapefruit we picked with Martin at the near by farm. Martin is the fulltime gardener at cocoview villa. One of the highlights of our trip was our day out on Ken and Diane's sail boat. We sailed along the coast of St. Lucia and anchored between the 2 Pitons to have a wonderful BBQ lunch. We got more than expected this day as we were lucky enough to see a whale, a sea turtle and a flying fish. Next time we visit St. Lucia we will certainly entertain an overnight excursion with Ken and Diane on their sailboat. Their sailing expertise was top notch and made our day excursion really enjoyable. I can't say enought about Sandra (manager). Her customer service was exceptional and we really enjoyed sharing some good conversation and her tips on where to go and what to do on the island. Be sure to visit the Reef restaurant if you go to the beach which was beautiful. A great taxi driver for a trip around the island is Lambert. If you wish to spend some time in St. Lucia outside of a resort environment this is a wonderful way to experience it and spend time with the local people.

  Our stay at Coco View Villa was a great experience and just what we had hoped for. The location is quiet and relaxing with amazing ocean views. Sandra was so friendly and helpful, a great hostess! We miss our fresh grapefruit in the morning from our walk to the plantation with Martin. We hope to return to St.Lucia and Coco View Villa in the future!

  We spent a week in February 2013 at the Coco View Villa. What a wonderful experience!! The view was breathtaking of the Atlantic and the Caribbean. The whole area is very lush. We went scuba diving with Chester in Soufriere. Diane, the owner, arranged this for us and he was wonderful. The personalized service was fantastic. We did not get to meet nor sail with the owners as they were in Barbados, but Sandra, the new villa manager is such a dear woman. She was extremely helpful whenever we had questions. Martin, the gardener, walked us to the plantation to get fresh grapefruit which were delicious! (Not a walk for those not in shape!) We would definitely stay here again.

  Been there twice now and it just gets better every time This trip my girl friend and a friend went down and spent a week on their catamaran. I have bee in the Caribbean a few times the canarie Islands and none of these held a candle to the great time we had with Ken and Diane on their boat. We did a tour of the Island and every stop was more spectacular than the last. They seem to know most everyone and are super hosts really known all the good spots and things to do. We were 5 on the boat and were all quite comfortable they had all the equipment required for snorkelling had contacts for diving. All in all this was an excellent adventure that we would do again in a heart beat Ken and Diane are excellent hosts and great people to party with. Thanks for an unforgettable holiday

  Just a short distance from the main airport but a world away in terms of its vista views and tranquility. Diane and Ken are great hosts who know how to let you wind down and get the most from your vacation however you choose. Closeby are nature trails, one of the finest beaches on the island, mangrove swamps for nature lovers, waterfalls etc. Much of their food is sourced from local farms. Staying at Coco Villa, you get to see and feel the real St Lucia. You'll come back relaxed and reviatlised..

  Great place to stay in a rustic, off the beaten path setting. A beautiful island - super nice people, lots of cool things to do. Great places to eat and beautiful beaches. Ken and Diane were great hosts and made us feel right at home. Thank you!!!

  Ken and Diane are the epitome of the perfect innkeepers. My husband and I found ourselves in a terrible situation at a place that was fraudulently listed on HomeAway. We had them called and within an hour they had a beautiful unit ready for us. This unit has a terrific view of the ocean from its wraparound covered porch. We were made to feel very comfortable and safe. One afternoon they took us up the coast on their sailing catamaran. They seem to know just about everyone as they are very involved on the island. Any questions you have will be answered and they are able to suggest places to go and, as in our case, who to take a dive course from. If you are going to St. Lucia but don't want the all inclusive places, CocoView Villa is for you. We were in the two bedroom unit and it had everything we needed and more. Ken even brought us a fresh pineapple which was the best we ever had. Their yard is full of bananas trees and pineapple plants as well as all the beautiful flowers. When we go back to St. Lucia it will be to CocoView Villa

  My husband and I stayed at this property for 10 days in March 2012. We were also joined by our adult daughter and beau. The house is in the less crowded and less developed southern part of the island, which we enjoyed. The house was comfortable with all the conveniences one would like. We loved the views, the library of books, the games stocked in. I don't think any of us needed to turn on the TV the whole time. Diane and Ken and their daughter and friend were lovely, and we so enjoyed going out on their boat and meeting their friends, as well as their restaurant recommendations. I would definitely rent a 4-wheel drive car - you will need it for exploring the island. This is a great place for a quiet, laid back vacation, which is exactly what we needed!

  Wow, what a vacation for me and my wife. It was our honeymoon, a bit unconventional, but without a doubt this was the greatest adventure of our lifetime so far, in no small part made possible by the hosts ,Diane and Ken, Alana and Shelby. Starting from the very first curious email to Diane, to the last drink of the awesome St.Lucian rum with Ken on the deck, just before our departure. They absolutely made sure that everything was top notch and you had nothing to worry about. The villa itself is built in the lush green hilly forests surrounding the Vieux Fort with what has to be among the best views offered in the area. Why go for all inclusive, when you can have the lovingly built house with ALL the amenities and the comfort, just like in own home away from home. You will have everything you are used to and then some. Our internet worked flawless the whole time, so that we could stay in touch with our kids. There is the free phone and the cable for that rainy day. They even have 110v north american style receptacles throughout the house so you can leave all your adapters at home. The view from the deck is amazing(no amount of pictures will truly describe it), we used it every day. I loved being awoken by the beautiful song of chirping birds all around you and enjoying my morning coffee in the swinging chair overlooking the Savannes Bay and the magnificent Maria islands. You are a very short drive away from what has to be best beach on the island. You can hire a professional taxi(a bit expensive, but safe) or ride the bus(a bit scary, but cheap) but for true sense of adventure just rent the car at any available rental places. You will have a variety of fresh fruit right in front of you in the garden or even dropped off by the local farmers, just ask your hosts and they will arrange it for you. Make sure you use there extensive knowledge and history of the island for a truly great experiences as they will point you to the places that are not mentioned on the internet reviews. Ken even arranged a trip to the gorgeous Maria Islands for us with the local fishermen which was a definitive highlight of the whole trip for me. They also know a great mix of local restaurants and smaller places that have great food at decent prices. Make sure you check out the fish fry just down the hill on Friday and Saturday for some sea food and "The Bite" for juicy ribs. Overall, we loved the place so much that we started planning our next trip here, as there is so much to see!!

  Outside of Vieux Fort, and up in the hills, this is truly a home for the renting. The owners, Ken & Diane, built it and have totally furnished it. You will want for nothing. They live on site and are there for you. It was not surprising to find hand picked bananas and other fruit on the porch. We discovered fresh squeezed graprefruit juice and warm banana bread in our kitchen. Their neighbors drop by with newly picked coconuts, cutting them open for fresh milk. You can even adopt their two dogs if you wish. You should have a rental car. You are up in the hills, a bit from town, but with a beautiful view of the sea and surrounding countryside from your high balcony. They will even take you into the neighborhood and introduce you to the locals. They know the area well and are full of insider information. They provide everything, including phones, TV, computer with website, and electrical adapters. If you find yourself lacking for anything, just ask, they will deliver! The kitchen was totally furnished, down to salt & pepper. The living room and bedrooms were so comfortable it was better than being at home. This is truly a wonderful place, with very friendly and gracious hosts. Their website with pictures is true to what you will find. This place is a "must stay". I would recommend it highly, but really want to keep it a personal secret!!
