  This house looked like it was from HGTV! It was so nice. There was nothing that we needed that was not included. We had the most relaxing, fun, week. Perfect location!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My family and I travel to Orange county every year for spring break as we have family in the area. This property was definitely our favorite. The house and grounds are immaculate, and you are really provided every amenity you could think of. The street is nice and quiet, and you are within walking distance to a lot things. A beautiful Ralph's is just up the street, the Bagel Shack next to Ralph's is awesome too! Check out breakfast at Surfin Donuts (next to Baskin Robbin) a couple street past Del Mar. The beach is about 1/2 mile down some pretty steep hills, so I would recommend driving to Calafia State Beach (about 1.5 miles away) plenty of close parking and plenty of beautiful beach that wasn't as crowded the pier bowl area. Definitely take advantage of the San Clemente running/walking trail that runs along the beach too! The house is truly beautiful and everything is as described on the site.The bed in the master bedroom was ridiculously comfortable. My kids (11) and (10) fought over the shower in the master! The outdoor shower came in handy when we and our extended family would come back from the beach, and the outdoor patio is beautiful and functional as well. We will certainly be back next year!!

  We enjoyed this property in Feb & Mar 2012 so much we returned in Feb & Mar 2013. Kellie & Jim have done an outstanding job in making their home the best home away from home experience possible. Casa Cadiz has everything you will need for your San Clemente visit. The 3 bedroom, two bath lay-out is excellent for a family or a couple who plan to have weekend guests. The master bedroom suite is a WOW factor! The outside entertainment area with big screen TV, heaters, fire pit, grill and seating for 18-20 people is perfect for extended family celebrations. There is also everything you need for children or grandchildren to enjoy the beach or enjoy a family bike ride. Nothing has been overlooked. The home is located in a quiet owner occupied residential area with neighbors who treat you as neighbors. Ideally located with a 10 minute walk to the beach or Del Mar for shopping & dining. The new Ralph's at the end of the block was a real plus for our visit this year. If we could give ten stars we would! We have already booked Feb & Mar 2014!

  I keep meaning to write this. We travelled from New Zealand and stayed at this amazing property. Everything the owners say in the listing is true. The place was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The owners were extremely helpful and just lovely. The beach was great and the local restaurants were fun. San Clemente was a great middle point for all our visiting and sightseeing. We will definitely come back one day.

  Great home,location,and neighborhood. Felt welcomed and right at home from our first day there. No problems with our reservations. Everything went smoothly,which is so important when you are away from your own surroundings. I would rent this property again without looking anywhere else. Great amenities,very thoughtful property owners, down to the very last detail.

  My family absolutely loved their stay in this charming home! We found the listing description to be accurate, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The home was clean & the layout was very functional. We especially loved all of the outdoor living space. The owners have just about thought of everything you could need & have included it in the home. You can definitely walk to the beach, but San Clemente is so hilly it makes for a long walk back :) Having all of the beach gear included with the rental was a huge blessing & money saver. All of the neighbors were extremely kind & friendly, and we loved the neighborhood. The only things we found a bit inconvenient were the check in & check out times (check in is late in the day & check out comes pretty early) & San Clemente was unusually warm which warmed up the home quite a bit. We just hung out on the great patio :) But all in all, I would definitely recommend this home & would rent it again in a heartbeat!

  We are a young family of four (kids 6 & 3) from Canada, and we vacation in Orange County every year. This was our first time in San Clemente. This is definitely the best house we have rented so far, and we will be back next year. Here are some of the highlights: -A quiet neighborhood, no to far from the beach, Starbucks, Ralphs... -The house looks amazing, and the feel is great, A lot of attention to details -The outdoor shower is priceless if you have young kids, and planning to spend time at the beach. -We spent most of our time in the backyard. The TV, fireplace, sofa combination is great for relaxing after a busy day at the beach. -You'll have everything you need, from Surfboards, bikes, beach chairs... -Last but not least, Kellie, the owner is very friendly and service oriented. In a nutshell, this is a great place, and we highly recommend it. Nothing bad to say. Merci Eric, Liza, Florence, & Thomas

  We have enjoyed Southern CA beach city vacation homes for a decade as we escape IA winters each year. This is a brand new complete floor to ceiling restoration vacation home. It is like living in a new home. The grounds have been professionally landscaped. You can pick fresh lemons & oranges from the trees. San Clemente's best restaurants, shopping, and beaches are an easy and enjoyable 10 minute walk. The design, furnishings, and amenities, to include an interior and exterior sound system, are over the top! There is even a private lounging area outside the master bathroom. The master bathroom is complete with a sunken whirlpool spa for two! The outside entertainment area comfortably seats 14 people with available chairs, tables, seating around a fire pit and an L-shaped outdoor sectional. There is additional ground space to seat another 6 people! There is even a large screen wall mounted TV and restaurant style heaters to make cooler night-time weather entertaining very enjoyable. Kellie and Jim are perfect hosts! If you need anything from extra chairs, children's wetsuits, boogey boards, theme park information...just ask...anything not available turns up within hours. One of the best features for us is that the house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood of owner occupied homes. The neighbors treated us as new neighbors rather than short-term residents. The home is definitely not a "party house." Neighbors would not tolerate late night, loud party events.
