In the winter, ski at the Homewood Ski Resort, just down the street by day, and relax fireside in the evening. In the summer enjoy the Chambers Landing Bar and Restaurant with access to the private, life guard staffed, community beaches (a shallow safe baby beach included) and pool, and access to tennis courts. Enjoy the comforts of home, including 3 TVs, Wi-Fi, DVD, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and microwave, all while experiencing a vacation only Lake Tahoe could offer. Rest assured that even the driveway is plowed in the winter!

We stayed at this house during the holidays for a mini-reunion and came just in time to enjoy the freshly fallen snow! This house was very comfortable - it was clean and well-maintained As we had young children and preferred to stay in for meals, we were able to make simple meals in the kitchen, which was well-stocked with the essentials. The location was perfect as it was close by to some great ski resorts. And it looks like it would be a great place to be during the summer months as well! Laurel was very helpful and responsive to questions, especially while we were actually at the house. We hope to come back again soon and would be happy to stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I have rented many houses in Tahoe, almost all West Shore. We always want a Chamber's pass (which this house has). Loved the upstairs, high ceilings, lots of light, airy. Downstairs a bit dungeony ( not uncommon in this style house) BUT perfect place for kids! The bedroom upstairs with it's own bathroom is great. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking you might want to bring a few supplies. The kitchen is equipped with just the necessities no extra gadgets which is fine for us because we have many favorite restaurants we frequent in Tahoe. We had a great stay and plan on a return visit!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I stayed at this cabin for a 1 week over 4th of July and really enjoyed it. The bedroom setup was great because it was able to accommodate 7-8 adults comfortably. The living area had a lot of seating as well as a great outdoor deck area for sitting/dining. The cabin location was great for walking to/from Chambers Landing beach/pool area - roughly a 15 minute walk or 1 minute drive w/ very little hills. The owners were very helpful and responsive to all my questions leading up to the rental week and after we arrived at the cabin. Also, the cabin had pool/beach/tennis passes, which many cabins have in the chambers community, but some do not, and this was definitely a HUGE plus. I recommend hiking to Quail Lake and renting paddle boards down by Obexers if you stay here during the summer time. Overall, I would recommend this cabin for anyone staying around Chamberlands in the summer time - it was a great deal for a cabin that could sleep 8 people, had pool/beach access, and had a great location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

As repeat visitors, over the past 10 years, our family vacation to Lake Tahoe is made more special with a stay at the Becker Family home, in Chamberlands, walking distance to the lake. This is perfect home for one or two families, with 2queen/king rooms and 2 twin bed rooms, a large living room, and dining room. The accommodations are well equipped and very comfortable. The owners go to great lengths to make certain everything is in good order for your visit. In the summer, we appreciate access to the Chambers Landing private beach, pool and tennis courts. Winter guests will find the location, one block from Highway 89, easy access to several ski areas, and of course Tahoe City. We are pleased to recommend the Becker home to family and friends; you will enjoy your stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
