Only two and a half hours north of NYC and 15 minutes from the Hudson Amtrak station, you can be at Tanglewood, summer home of the Boston Symphony, in 35 minutes, or in the pool or fitness center at the local high school in ten minutes.
Or, if you'd rather spend your time relaxing and not traveling, sit in the backyard and watch the stream run by or bring your fishing pole and hook a trout for dinner. On hot summer days, there's nothing more refreshing than a swim in the Green Hole, a crystal-clear 12-foot deep pool within view of the kitchen window.
The house is cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with plenty of space for entertaining and many corners for a quiet time alone.
