My husband and I stayed here with our dog for a month and a half while looking for a property to buy. We loved the location near Sabino canyon, tons of restaurants and Udall park. Colonia Verde is a great little community and we enjoyed the two pools on the property. Julia is so easy to work with and available if/when you need anything. We received a great value for the price and would stay again! Thanks again Julia :) Kelly, Aaron and Parker the pup (Bellevue, WA)Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you, Kelly! We are so happy you enjoyed your visit!

This property suited us perfectly for a month away from winter! We especially loved the patios (and the hummingbirds were an added bonus!) Everything we could have wanted was provided, and the decor is very nice. The owner was very gracious and helpful too! We would enthusiastically recommend this town home.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

The house is exactly as advertised. If anything, the rooms seemed larger than pictured. It was very comfortable with plenty of room for us and our dog. Julia was very helpful with any issues or questions we had and was very responsive to our needs and yet left us alone to enjoy her home. The house is very nicely appointed. Unlike other short term rental homes that we have stayed at the kitchen was very well stocked with items that seemed to be from Crate and Barrel rather than some flea market. She obviously takes pride in maintaining and equiping this home. For us the location was perfect. Udall Park is only a block away and we were there walking every day. Also within a block walk are grocery stores, bagel shop, drug store, hardware store, barber shop, pizza shop, etc. Although it is a very busy area the house is secluded and quite. We hope to be back next year.Recommended for: Pet owners, people with disabilities, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This property was just what we were looking for on our visit to Tucson. It is well maintained and nicely decorated with everything you need to set up housekeeping for a week (as we did) or a much longer period. The Colonia Verde Townhouse community is very well maintained and guite area and other residents are friendly and accomodating. There are shopping centers, including large grocery stores near by and many resturants in the surrounding area. We were very happy with the townhouse and would not hesitate to recommend it to others or consider it for future trips.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

As a retired realtor, I have had clients stay in many rentals, and I can assure that this one has everything you need to be comfortable and a bit spoiled. Beautifully appointed townhouse with plenty of space. Extremely well located in Tucson's northeast side. It is close to shopping, wonderful restaurants, and a big park across the main street. Sabino Canyon is very close for hiking, or just riding the team. Townhouse is very light and bright and welcoming. Bedrooms are large have great closets. I love the patio for quiet breakfasts or bar b q dinner and of course to enjoy the Arizona sun..Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I lived in this home for 10 months, and it truly is an oasis in the desert; however, so close to everything. Once you drive into the housing area, it has very large open areas, with wonderful walking trails, and two swimming pools, one with a sauna, all very well maintained. The house is very private and quiet. Even though it is connected to another house it feels like a private seculded home. There is a shopping center, a park and restaurtants within walking distance. Driving distance to many great restaurants, shopping areas, and tourist attractions. Because it is an older area the landscaping is full grown and many great trees and small shrubbery. Lots of storage, a walk-in closet in the master. A place to make you feel at home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

About the owner: I live with my husband in Tucson. We travel extensively around the world but find this enchanted desert our preferred home. I am a retired college professor and now teach meditation and yoga.
Why the Owner Chose Colonia Verde:
I bought this home as a retreat space when I was in the midst of my meditation training. I was most attracted to the fact that while it is close to shopping and other amenities, it is very quiet and private.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
The grounds of this subdivision are beautiful desert landscaping with walking paths and two pools. It is across the street from Udall park, and easily accessible to hiking and biking trails in the Catalina mountains. Everything you need is within walking distance, but the wonderful sites of the Sonoran desert (including the Museum, the National Park, Catalina Mountains, and the University of Arizona) are all nearby.
