YEA!!!!!! WE HAVE TONS OF SNOW FOR GREAT SPRING SKIING. Everyone needs a getaway and I think this little jewel is definitely one. Our intention was to create a luxurious accommodation without losing the feel of staying in a 1935 log cabin in the woods. The linens and furnishings are top quality,
the furniture is very modern but comfortable, well beyond what one would expect in a rental property, The kitchen is completely equipped right down to the plastic wine glasses for the hot tub.
We understand that you do not get a second chance to make
a good first impression. We want our guests to feel at home in a luxuriously pampered atmosphere. Hopefully they will want to come back and enjoy all four seasons with us.
We have put the price range at a rate that everyone can afford.
Less than half the price of a good hotel or bed and breakfast.
Imagine spending the days on the ski slopes or using the cross country ski trails, that are just steps from the cabin, taking a steam shower or coming downstairs to enjoy a quiet evening with a glass of fine wine in front of the stone fireplace. Perhaps you will prefer enjoying that glass of wine, while soaking in the hot tub underneath the stars and surrounded by the tall Canadian pines.
We have added a queen size blow up mattress with all of the proper bedding, should another couple wish to bunk out in front of the fireplace.
We have added snow shoes for those who would care to take a walk into the woods and flip flops for around the hot tub.
For the Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons we have provided bikes, so that our guests can enjoy the nature trails all year round.
Does life get any better than this?

This was our second visit to the "Cozy Cabin in the Woods". We loved it so much the first time that we had to go back. Again, it was a pleasure to stay there. Beautiful décor, wonderful atmosphere, and lots to enjoy and do, both at and around the cabin. I've recommended it to many friends. Will visit again,Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My boyfriend and I went up to relax and enjoy some quality time. As soon as we opened the door to the cabin we felt relaxed. Luxirious yet cozy and comfy. All that you can ask for in a Kitchen, Perfect setting for the living room with the wood burning fireplace and kitchen table. Then you walk upstairs to a piece of heaven. From the king size bed, to the shower, to your own little seclusion. Not far from town but far enough and private enough to feel totally at peace. We will be going back once the snow has melted and recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you once again for an amazing cabin and the lovely and tasty bottle of wine and thank you Erin for all of your help answering any and every question we had.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My husband and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary in this wonderful cozy cabin. When we arrived we were greeted by a beautiful fawn and then upon entering the cabin there was a nice bottle of wine on the table. It is a beautiful cabin which would please both young and old. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into planning this cabin for rental because there are so many personal touches to it and they seem to have thought of just about everything one would need and more. Thank you Erin for introducing us to this awesome getaway cabin we definitely would go back and we would also recommend it to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet weekend away and came across this rare find! I am from the area and location is key for me. We were very impressed with all the attention to details that Gail incorporated into the cabin. It is exactly what we would have done if it was our own. The wine was a nice touch and thoroughly enjoyed as was the music playing upon our arrival. We brought our bikes and enjoyed a day cycling through the Laurentians. The cabin is close to everything yet nestled in the woods so you feel the privacy. We look forward to coming back in the winter to enjoy the beautiful stone fireplace and close proximity to the ski hills. Would definitely recommend this property. Gail was only a phone call away if we had any questions. Thanks!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It included attractive features such as an open-concept living room and beautiful decor, plus luxuries like a hot tub, high-quality appliances and large private balcony, all of which one wouldn't necessarily expect from such a low-priced vacation. I can't say enough great things about this offer, including the owner who was readily available to help you.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We stayed at Gail's cottage for a week in July. It was everything that we would have wanted in a cottage. The renovations inside did not make us wanting for anything more. All the things you would need to make your stay a pleasurable one was right there. A wonderful cottage to get away from everything. Very clean and well kept. Quiet and peaceful and if you did want to get away for some time, the village of St-Sauveur with all of its cafes and shops was just perfect. Gail was always reachable if we had any questions. The hot tub and sauna were an excellent way of getting rid of all that stress. I would recommend this cottage very highly and we will definitely be returning soon. Thanks Gail. It was a great stay for us. Stephen and Colleen - Ottawa OntarioRecommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

I booked this cabin from April 2nd to the 8th. Spent the first 4 days alone as I needed to rest and then my fiancé joined me for the remainder of the stay. It is a wonderful place to be at. The cabin has everything you may want for your getaway. The outside hot tub is certainly something I was looking for. The cabin is very secluded and very private. The owners have taken great care and planning in decorating and furnishing the cabin. The only thing I would add is curtains or blinds in the bedroom upstairs as it is pretty bright in the morning. We just loved the place and plan on going back in the very near future.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: We are 3 girls that have traveled extensively and know what we look for in a rental property. We purchased this property, knowing that we would make changes and improvements that would wow our guests. We believe in the best quality for an affordable price.
Why the Owner Chose Morin Heights:
We fell in love with the location. The cabin is nestled in the woods and enjoys privacy but also has easy access to everything one would want. This is all within walking distance of the village, beach, cross country ski trails, snow shoe, hiking and biking etc.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Definitely the linear park and the beach. You can literally put your cross country skis on at the front door and off you go. Walk into the village and enjoy the local gossip of village life or a drink at The Comfort Inn.
