Come stay in our well-loved, 2 BR sunny quad, family beach cottage on Cape May island! This affordable shore retreat is located in the quiet, low-traffic Village Green area of Cape May, a 10-15 min walk to superb restaurants and an eclectic collection of shops. This historic Victorian area offers antique lovers and historians a variety of points of interests: museums, Victorian architecture, horse-drawn carriage tours, antique shopping, and more.
11 blocks to the ocean beach and 3 blocks to Cape May Harbor, we provide you with 4 complimentary seasonal beach tags.
A full kitchen, dining/living area, and 1.5 baths makes this a very comfortable vacation home. Have breakfast or enjoy a refreshment with a good book on our lanai. Our white picket fence surrounds a small yard with an outdoor hot/cold shower, a shed with beach items and 3 bicycles.
Park your vehicle in an off-the-street parking space; additional on-street parking is also available -no meters!

This was our first trip to Cape May and I had no idea what to expect, it was also our first time renting s house here. The owners were so nice, helpful, and accommodating it made planning the trip a breeze. We were only in the house for four days, but everyone in our group agreed it was the perfect house in a great location. The area was perfect as well, it was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We loved taking the bikes out around the town and it was so nice that everything (sheets, bikes, beach tags) was included with the house! We are actually considering making this a yearly trip and would check availability at this house first before looking anywhere else!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The home was clean, comfortable and convenient for many of the things that we wanted to do and see. We initially wanted a place close to or on the beach but the quad turned out to be an excellent value and the location turned out to be ideal. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, less than a mile from the beach and just over one mile from the shopping, bars and restaurants near Washington Street Mall and Congress Hall, those destinations were easily accessible by bike. Biking saved us the hassle of parking in the crowded mall area and it was fun to peddle. The rental includes several bikes with lights, a basket, helmets and even a handy cart to haul chairs, umbrellas and coolers to the beach. Beach necessities are also supplied by the owner, as are 4 beach tags. The beach tags, bikes and beach equipment saved us money since we did not have to buy or rent those on our stay. This place is a true retreat. Although we didn't use the new grill, the patio is perfect for cooking and eating outdoors. The table and chairs on the front porch are perfect for your morning cup of coffee. The quad is nice and cozy and the owners supply all the necessary dishes, linens, appliances, etc. to make it feel like home. Although there were only two of us on our vacation, this rental would be terrific for a small family with children. We made all our arrangements with Colette who was very nice, quick to reply to our inquiries and very thorough in all directions given. We are especially appreciative that the owner allowed us to start our rental week on a Wednesday; most owners we contacted were strict about Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday rental periods. We rented Wednesday-Tuesday and this owner was gracious in giving us that allowance. The reservation and payment transactions happened seamlessly and expediently. The house was easy to get into, very low maintenance, and secure. Available were menus and recommendations for local eateries and shopping. All features were as described on the listing. We will absolutely rent here again! Thank you Colette for the great time.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

This was our first visit to Cape May and although I was only there for a short time, the visit has prompted me to visit the area again.Recommended for: Pet owners, sightseeing.

We love our home. We live 2 hours away in suburban Philadelphia. My husband and I honeymooned here and 25 years after regular family vacations in a host of different rentals, we decided to buy our own. Our favorite Cape May activities are beaching, biking, soft serve ice cream, and excellent cuisines.

Our vacation home is convenient to the sights and sounds of a Cape May vacation but still a quiet retreat at the end of the day or between activities. Super relaxing!
