  What a great place to stay. My family and I really enjoyed our vacation in Maui. The place was very clean and well maintained. You could see the ocean from the balcony. My kids loved to swim in the pool and my wife loved that see could swim at the beach. It was nice to have a park, shops, and restuarants all within walking distance. Thankls so much you allowing us the pleasure to stay at your place and we will definitely be back!

  My wife and I spent five fabulous days at this location. The location is ideal for exploring Maui, with convenient access to the major roads. The condo was clean, well kept and well stocked with all the amenities. (The commons areas were clean and nicely landscaped too.) The view of the ocean is slightly obscured by the trees in the courtyard, but that orientation provides a nice wind break on the lanai. The one caveat, which is not at all unique to this property, is that due to the geography, it is frequently windy in this part of Maui. Coming from Kansas, we're use to that and we felt right at home. Others might not feel that way. There was only one night of the five nights that the wind died down enough that we were able to hear the sound of the ocean as we went to sleep. This property is an easy recommendation for someone wanting a quiet and relaxing home away from home. And you can't beat the easy access to the beach. Communication was excellent with the owners and everything went smoothly/efficiently. It is an easy place to recommend, and would stay there again.

The central location is nice for people who want to explore – and at the end of the day, the drive time home is shorter, and the car needs less gas, than if you had stayed at one end of the island or the other. We have asked our terrific gardeners to trim them back, so that we can see the ocean more clearly again. You'll have to come back to enjoy the view!

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Kanai A Nalu. The condo is very comfortable and we didn't want to leave. The pictures on this website don't do it justice. We also discovered the Eskimo Candy Co., the malasadas, and the swap meet. All worth discovering yourself! And don't forget to check out the winery on Haleakala! Hopefully you will be able to visit during the whale watching season. You can actually see the whales from the lanai or take a ride on one of the whale watching boats. Looking forward to our next visit!

  Our 10 days in this condo were so relaxing. We slept on a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom.(It felt like home.) Whale watching on the balcony from very early in the morning was my husband's favorite thing. For me the view of the beautiful grounds and the ocean created such peace. I loved walking on the clean uncrowded beach just steps away from the property's grounds. --Also enjoyed being able to cook in a fully equipped kitchen. Paradise! Look forward to returning.

• Paradise Found!

  We have had the opportunity to stay at this condo recently and several years ago. The upgrades that the owner has made are very nice and the condo is well equipped for a leisurely vacation. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property. It's convenient to great dining and sightseeing tours. You can practically walk to the Maui Ocean Center. We bought a week pass because it was so close and very educational and entertaining. We went on the BEST whale watching tour at the Pacific Whale Foundation, at the Ma'alaea Bay Harbor. It's located right next to the Maui Ocean Center and worth it to get up early and do their sunrise tour. We had whales all around us and even under the boat! But even if you just want to hang out on the lanai you will be able to see whales frolicking in the bay with their babies as you enjoy your morning coffee. We ate at several local eateries, the Eskimo Candy Co. is a favorite and trust me it's NOT candy! Just the most delicious fresh fish. You also should try a malasada, a type of Portuguese donut that is awesome. Well, I hope this info helps you make your vacation plans at the beautiful Kanai a Nalu, Mahalo!

  I have stayed at Kanai A Nalu every year. We all enjoy the features of the unit and particularly like the convience to all parts of the island. We enjoy sitting on the lanai and watch the mother whales teach their babies how it flip their flippers and to jump in the winter months. We also like to use the Pacific Whale Foundation for informative whale watch tours. It is also fun to go to the Swap Meet at the Community College in Kahului on Saturday morning, you can find many treasures and great produce and flowers there.
