  It is a nice location for the beach but would not stay there again. The condo was nice washer worked well but the dryer took 4 times to dry a load of clothes. Parking sucks... You can park below the condo (only one car) if theres a spot open. If not you have to park across the busy street and carry all your groceries, ect.... across and its no easy to cross. Also with young kids its scary to cross whle trying to watch them and carry everything. The pool says partly shaded...lol its always shaded and not very relaxing. Also it says here in the pic's that here are 2 master suites with jetted tubs.. Thats a lie only one has a jetted tub and you can't even get enough hot water to fill it up past the jets. Its in a party sectoin of town so if your looking for a family setting DON'T stay here. Besides that it was nice to be on the beach....

We work hard to keep the condo in great condition for our guests and have checked the dryer several times since your stay and it is now working properly. The jetted tub was checked and the hot water seems to fill fine but I apologize if you had trouble with it. You’re correct in the fact the pool is more shaded beneath the building during the summer. The sun stays a little higher creating more shade through the summer then it is during the spring & fall. It is nice to be able to be out of the sun but still enjoy swimming. Grandview is located in the center of PCB and is a great family location but unfortunately, being in PCB, it is a popular college area too. Again, thank you for the review and letting me know about the dryer so we could take care of it right away.

  Our stay at Grandview was wonderful. The condo is beautiful and very spacious. Very well stocked with towels and wash clothes, and a good start supply with dishwashing cleaner and tp. We had an issue with the washer and dryer, but all we had to do was pick up the phone and call Southern Vacation Rental and they had someone there to fix it quickly. Would definatly go back.

  This is a winner, great place and location, reserved beach chairs come with the unit. Beautiful views all around. Parking is a real challenge and their are no reserved spots.

  The unit itself was awesome. It's an end unit so it is oversized and has the extra windows in living/dining area. My only complaints about the condo were minor. Carpet was stained but that is to be expected with a light color in a rental. The lighting in the bathrooms was inadequate for make up application and I wish there was a dead bolt on the exterior door for security. Check in was disorganized. The email instructions were supposed to include a code that I did not notice was missing until we arrived. You cannot get into the building to the management office on the first floor without a code to the lobby. We had to drive 8 miles to an off-site location to retrieve check- in instructions. When we arrived no one was there except a real estate agent that had no idea what to do. Luckily, he had a cell # of someone that could assist us. We then had to drive 8 miles back to the property. Now as far as the property goes, I was less than satisfied. We were assigned parking space #101 but the spaces are not numbered and parking on the beach side was inadequate to say the least. Most of the time we had to park across the street and cross busy traffic with luggage, groceries and/or small children. And rest assured, if you inadvertently park in the wrong lot your car WILL be towed! The pool was very small and shaded by the building during the day. The beach was overrun with rowdy teens. I complained to the property management about the loud vulgar rap music and offensive language but nothing was done as they continued to party every day after. I even gave management their room number because we could hear their plans for a party that evening. I eventually called the Beach Patrol personally because of the language being used in front of my children. Two rent-a-cops showed up and did not even i.d. anyone. Several funnels were visible and these kids were clearly under 21. When they did leave for the evening, the beach was littered with beer bottles/cans and cigarette butts. Maybe I picked the wrong week to visit PCB but the bottom line is if you are looking for a family friendly place to stay, look elsewhere. If you are looking to get your party on, this is the place.
