Over the past few years, Water Color has become one of our favorite places to get away. While most of the VRBO's we have stayed in have been nice, Port Of Call has been our favorite house so far. Casey, the owner, was wonderful to work with. The whole rental process was very smooth and easy. The house was as nice or better than depicted in the photos. We really liked the open layout downstairs. The bed swing on the front porch was great for swinging with the kids while they napped. It's perfect for a family or even two families. We can't wait to return.

Start first with Casey, the owner, who coordinated our pleasurable get away. Casey was gracious, considerate and was prompt in our communications. A pleasure to deal with. The home is bright, beautifully furnished and lends itself to a relaxing peaceful stay. The home is well equipped with amenities to enhance your stay. Cook a gourmet meal with ease and enjoy your meal with family at the spacious dining table. The new furnishing, beds and bathrooms lend themselves to comfort and luxury. The home was received in great condition and it was very tidy, clean and well stocked to start our stay. Port of Call has a wonderful location, on a quiet street removed from community traffic and fronts a park on its north side where the kids can safely play. Their Swantree concierge service was available for our service but we did not utilize them. Bonus items were the use of the bikes, outdoor gas grill, and outside hose to rinse off the car. Local amenities include: The Wine Bar at Watercolor and Wild Olives at Rosemary Beach for a great lunch and sandwiches. For a special dinner, try Cafe 30A. For those non beach days, drive to the Outlets in Destin to grab some local bargains and finish the day dining at Tommy Bahama's or Carrabba's Italian Grill. All and all, Port of Call is a wonderful place to spend a week or longer but eventually we have to return to the reality of life. I would recommend this home without hesitation. Thank you Casey & Rob for sharing your home with VRBO and assisting our family with a memorable vacation.

We just recently returned from our first trip to Watercolor, FL, and could not have been happier with this home. We are a family of 5 and my mom and step-dad stayed in the home as well. The layout of the home was perfect. There was a quiet area off of the master bedroom that was perfect for having our baby in a pack-in-play. Off of the kids' bunk room was another small room which was perfect for giving our 4 and 6 year olds their own space to sleep. Then the downstairs queen suite was perfect for my mom and step-dad to get a good night of sleep without the kids disturbing them. We all commented on how comfortable and clean the house was. The front porch swing was definitely one of our favorite features and we enjoyed the beautiful weather sitting out on the porch. The location was great - we were able to cut through the tennis center to get to Seaside and the pools and beaches were very close as well. Overall a wonderful house and the owner was very friendly and great to work with!

Sorry for the delay in providing feedback, but I wanted to make sure I had the time to sit down and fully explain how we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our experience at PORT OF CALL. To cut to the chase, the home is WONDERFUL - much better (and BIGGER) than the pictures indicate, as is the case with all Watercolor properties on VRBO, I find. If you haven't been to WC, it's almost impossible to fully imagine the Mayberry/Celebration, Florrida type - "perfected community" feel of the area. Clean and new, yet warm and inviting - out of a postcard, really! Then you arrive at 394 Red Cedar Way and the impression only gets better. We've always stayed in the "Park" district, thinking "closest to the beach" was best. Well, now we know better! Port of Call is literally just a stone's throw from our last rental in the Park District. Just a few feet "over the bridge"...really, not further from the beach at all, time-wise. Keep in mind that all WC rentals (except for Beach District) are away from the beach - you need to walk, bike, or take a golf cart - so it really doesn't matter where in the area you stay. The house itself is so warm and cozy. I'd say it's our favorite, and would be our only choice in the future except we usually have a much larger group which wouldn't fit. LOVED the porch bed/swing...wished we'd stayed longer to enjoy the furnished back porch as well. Kitchen was well-stocked, beds super comfortable, and everything was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! (And I'm a neat-freak!) I'd like to conclude by emphasizing what may be the most important part of a vrbo rental...the OWNER!! It's not going to do you much good to rent the nicest, largest property and deal with a jerk along the way, now is it?! In this case, Casey, owner of Port of Call, couldn't have been more efficient, gracious, and helpful. Super-easy and pleasant to communicate with, and I knew throughout our stay that we could contact her if needed. Additionally, she has an onsite concierge service, Swantree, which we did not use, but have in the past with other rentals. Very good service, and again, nice to know someone was available if we needed - this is not the case with all vrbo. rentals! Thanks, Casey, for sharing your home with us...only wish we could have stayed longer!

We found Port of Call to be very comfortable, clean and well maintained, and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable, the baths were large and very nice. All the amenities we required were available and the home was spacious and warm. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed the bunk room and made it her own private vacationland. Watercolors is a slice of paradise and Port of Call is a lovely place to call home during a visit. The location is convenient, yet quiet and secluded from high traffic areas (although the fall is a very peaceful time to visit). We would definitely return.

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in Watercolors. The resort pools are great and the beach is gorgeous. The house suited us perfectly. We are a family of 5, kids ages (8.6.4). They loved the bunk room and adjoining trundle room. The house was very user friendly and my family enjoyed the big swing on the porch. My recommendations would be to put a table for eating meals on the back porch, as it would have been nice to outside. And, to have some Xbox games on hand to go with the Xbox console. Thank you for a wonderful vacation, I highly recommend your home.

What a great trip we had to Watercolor. This is our 3rd year coming to this area and we stay longer and longer each time. We choose 394 Red Cedar Way for its great location and open design. Red Cedar Way is not super busy so our kids could ride their bikes up and down the road without dogging a bunch of cards. There was also a small green area just across the street great for tossing the ball around. Publix and Camp WaterColor are super close as well. House was great for my family of 6. We loved the large porch swing in front during the early mornings before it got to hot. Little room off the master was perfect for our baby to sleep in. Boys hit the bunk room and my daughter slept in peace and quite in the small room just off the bunk room. The bikes were all in great condition and saved us $$$. We will definitely be back next year!!

My family loves to come to this area to vacation during the summer. Our first 3 visits were to Seaside, but this year we decided to venture over to Watercolor. I'm so thankful that we did!!!!! This was by far our favorite week at the beach. This home was so perfect for us. We have 3 kids, but also invited our friends who just recently had a baby. With 4 adults and 4 kids, the set up could not have been better! You walk in to a spacious living room with furniture that is actually comfortable (lots of Olympic watching during our week). I absolutely loved the large round dining room table where we could ALL sit and enjoy a meal together. Our friends stayed in the downstairs bedroom while their baby slept in the provided pack and play that is already in the home. Our family stayed upstairs. My wife and I in the master, and our 8 and 5 year old boys in the bunk room. Even our little girl had her own little sleeping place that was connected to the our room. Our home was clean, comfortable, and furnished with everything you could possibly need. All of the light switches/remotes were labeled with directions for easy operation. This was just a perfect week for our family. The home was amazing, but the location was wonderful as well. Red Cedar Way is a semi-private road so there is very little traffic. You're 100 feet from a beautiful green area that is perfect for playing catch or frisbee. Camp Watercolor is only a short walk from the front steps, and the beach just a 5 minute bike ride away. The home comes with 4 adult bikes and 2 for small kids. We packed the burley, so we got lots of riding in over our 7 days! I can't say enough about this home. On the side of the house is a brand new gas grill that we used 4 or 5 times. Oh, and talk about convenience, the Publix is only about 2 minutes down the street when you need to restock on groceries. We made multiple trips! In all, we loved this home. I'm thankful for a wife that takes so many hours to research the perfect place for us to stay as a family. She's picked a great one!!!! My only regret was having to leave.................but, there's always next year!
