Perfect Vacation Home!!!
Perfect Vacation Home!!!
After many years of staying in Watercolor, this house has become our favorite spot to relax, wind down, and enjoy all of the amenities it has to offer. The owners of this property enjoy making their guests feel at home and are always very helpful from the start to the finish. The property is located on a quiet street and offers great privacy given it backs up to a greenbelt and has a small park across the street. It provides quick access to the many running/biking trails and is a short distance to the beach, grocery store, Seaside town square, and the Watercolor camp district – which provides a pool and a park like setting for the kids to play. The inside of the house has a great open floor plan with plenty of sleeping quarters and the porches are one of the best places to relax and unwind after a long day at the beach. Port of Call makes life easy as it provides all of the necessities to stay in and cook a great meal in the fully furnished kitchen or step outside and use the provided grill to make the steak or burger of choice. All in all, the Port of Call has created many lasting memories for our family and many more to come. I would highly recommend this house and we look forward to future stays here. Thanks Casey and Rob for making this our home away from home!

My family of 5 loved staying at this home. The feel and thought that went into this home exceeded our expectations. We also had never stayed in Watercolor before. After biking down some of 30-A, we knew we made the best choice by choosing to stay in Watercolor, and also to stay at this home. Home was much larger than pictured. It accommodated our 5 and my in-laws quite comfortably. Quiet back porch for evening chats, fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds for us and for the kids, kid friendly suite- all these things made our stay so pleasant! We will be back again, and most likely for the last week in September. Felt like we had the beach and Watercolor all to ourselves! Thanks to the Loves for being very accommodating and helpful!

As always, our family had an awesome trip to Watercolor. Our stay was made even better by staying at this wonderful, comfortable home. It's a quick bike ride to the beach and grocery store, on a quiet street, clean, well maintained and the kitchen has everything you need for meals at home. The owner was helpful answering our questions or concerns. We highly recommend this house and hope you enjoy it's charm as much as we did.

Excellent home and very convenient to almost everything. Casey and Rob were very helpful during the entire process. They went the extra mile to provide information on activities during our stay. Would definitely rent again with Casey. Thanks for a great trip.

Port of Call
Port of Call
This was our second stay in Port of Call and it was wonderful. We love the location to nearby Camp Watercolor and just a bike ride away to the beach. The home has a great floor plan for two families. One couple in the master one in the guest room and the kids in the bunk room. We traveled last year with out 6 month old and this year he was 18 months. The small room off the master was a great room for him in his pack n play (provided). Thanks for the memories!

Over the past few years, Water Color has become one of our favorite places to get away. While most of the VRBO's we have stayed in have been nice, Port Of Call has been our favorite house so far. Casey, the owner, was wonderful to work with. The whole rental process was very smooth and easy. The house was as nice or better than depicted in the photos. We really liked the open layout downstairs. The bed swing on the front porch was great for swinging with the kids while they napped. It's perfect for a family or even two families. We can't wait to return.

Peaceful, Easy , Feeling !
Peaceful, Easy , Feeling !
Start first with Casey, the owner, who coordinated our pleasurable get away. Casey was gracious, considerate and was prompt in our communications. A pleasure to deal with. The home is bright, beautifully furnished and lends itself to a relaxing peaceful stay. The home is well equipped with amenities to enhance your stay. Cook a gourmet meal with ease and enjoy your meal with family at the spacious dining table. The new furnishing, beds and bathrooms lend themselves to comfort and luxury. The home was received in great condition and it was very tidy, clean and well stocked to start our stay. Port of Call has a wonderful location, on a quiet street removed from community traffic and fronts a park on its north side where the kids can safely play. Their Swantree concierge service was available for our service but we did not utilize them. Bonus items were the use of the bikes, outdoor gas grill, and outside hose to rinse off the car. Local amenities include: The Wine Bar at Watercolor and Wild Olives at Rosemary Beach for a great lunch and sandwiches. For a special dinner, try Cafe 30A. For those non beach days, drive to the Outlets in Destin to grab some local bargains and finish the day dining at Tommy Bahama's or Carrabba's Italian Grill. All and all, Port of Call is a wonderful place to spend a week or longer but eventually we have to return to the reality of life. I would recommend this home without hesitation. Thank you Casey & Rob for sharing your home with VRBO and assisting our family with a memorable vacation.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Clean Home
Beautiful, Comfortable, Clean Home
We just recently returned from our first trip to Watercolor, FL, and could not have been happier with this home. We are a family of 5 and my mom and step-dad stayed in the home as well. The layout of the home was perfect. There was a quiet area off of the master bedroom that was perfect for having our baby in a pack-in-play. Off of the kids' bunk room was another small room which was perfect for giving our 4 and 6 year olds their own space to sleep. Then the downstairs queen suite was perfect for my mom and step-dad to get a good night of sleep without the kids disturbing them. We all commented on how comfortable and clean the house was. The front porch swing was definitely one of our favorite features and we enjoyed the beautiful weather sitting out on the porch. The location was great - we were able to cut through the tennis center to get to Seaside and the pools and beaches were very close as well. Overall a wonderful house and the owner was very friendly and great to work with!

PERFECT LITTLE GEM IN WATERCOLOR!!
PERFECT LITTLE GEM IN WATERCOLOR!!
Sorry for the delay in providing feedback, but I wanted to make sure I had the time to sit down and fully explain how we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our experience at PORT OF CALL. To cut to the chase, the home is WONDERFUL - much better (and BIGGER) than the pictures indicate, as is the case with all Watercolor properties on VRBO, I find. If you haven't been to WC, it's almost impossible to fully imagine the Mayberry/Celebration, Florrida type - "perfected community" feel of the area. Clean and new, yet warm and inviting - out of a postcard, really! Then you arrive at 394 Red Cedar Way and the impression only gets better. We've always stayed in the "Park" district, thinking "closest to the beach" was best. Well, now we know better! Port of Call is literally just a stone's throw from our last rental in the Park District. Just a few feet "over the bridge"...really, not further from the beach at all, time-wise. Keep in mind that all WC rentals (except for Beach District) are away from the beach - you need to walk, bike, or take a golf cart - so it really doesn't matter where in the area you stay. The house itself is so warm and cozy. I'd say it's our favorite, and would be our only choice in the future except we usually have a much larger group which wouldn't fit. LOVED the porch bed/swing...wished we'd stayed longer to enjoy the furnished back porch as well. Kitchen was well-stocked, beds super comfortable, and everything was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! (And I'm a neat-freak!) I'd like to conclude by emphasizing what may be the most important part of a vrbo rental...the OWNER!! It's not going to do you much good to rent the nicest, largest property and deal with a jerk along the way, now is it?! In this case, Casey, owner of Port of Call, couldn't have been more efficient, gracious, and helpful. Super-easy and pleasant to communicate with, and I knew throughout our stay that we could contact her if needed. Additionally, she has an onsite concierge service, Swantree, which we did not use, but have in the past with other rentals. Very good service, and again, nice to know someone was available if we needed - this is not the case with all vrbo. rentals! Thanks, Casey, for sharing your home with us...only wish we could have stayed longer!
