100 yards away from The Village and The Village Gondola in Mammoth! We are in the Helios North complex which is the closest to The Village, has underground parking, and all the amenities. Two large Master Suites, three bathrooms, and 1300 square feet provides plenty of room for up to eight people. We have a large kitchen/dining/living area, which is great for all sorts of indoor activities and entertaining. There are two parking spots underground for this unit (unit number on the wall). Regardless if you choose to drive or fly to Mammoth, there is no need for a car once you're here. We are walking distance to everything you need. It doesn't get anymore convenient when you're this close to The Village! This location is the best in Mammoth, and convenient for every family, or group looking to get the most out of their vacation. Jacuzzi, Sauna, Racquetball, and Ping Pong are all amenities within the complex. Right across the street is The Westin, and we love being able to walk to one of the best restaurants in Mammoth...The Whitebark. The property is great year round, as there is direct ski access, and all of the festivals/concerts in Mammoth are held right in The Village. We even use the ski back trail in the winter, and walk back to the condo right through The Village. Walk out, and walk home. Compare our prices with those of two bedrooms in The Village or The Westin...you can't beat it!

One of our worst vacation rental experiences! The configuration, amenities and location were as described, and the staff at the property manager was very nice and as helpful as they could be. The unit was as expected from the listing photo - pretty bare bones. That was the good part. The unit is heated by "eco-heaters" attached to the walls like radiators. They don't seem very "eco" as the wall gets really hot, to the point that we feared it was a fire hazard, but the rest of the room stays cold. The first night, we turned on the TV and immediately blew out the fuse that controlled the heater and TV in the master, the fridge, the heater and light in the dining room and some plugs. When I woke up the listing agent, she was very nice but didn't know where the fuse box was and couldn't reach anyone who did. Although we searched inside and out, we didn't locate it until the manager came in the morning, after we had suffered through a chilly night. We continued to have a problem with this fuse anytime we turned on the toaster, TV or dining room light. After skiing the next day we came back to a really cold condo. Even with all the heaters on high, we were still huddled under blankets and wearing gloves indoors. The instructions for the wood burning stove called for kindling or fire starter, neither of which had been provided. After another call to the property manager, someone brought us some fire starter, and that helped warm the place. There were no heaters at all in the bathrooms, and they were so cold that we dreaded showering. When I finally steeled myself to the cold and got in the shower, I found the shower door was off the track. I tried to lift it a bit to fix it, and the entire frame came off the wall. I caught it just before it hit the toilet. The property manager came back and together we were able to get it back into place, although it was not screwed in. We couldn't cook for fear that we'd be eating the flaking teflon on the pans. The sheets had black marks on them. The beds were quite uncomfortable, and every time one of us turned over in the one in the master, the cabinet that was built around the frame shook for several seconds, as if we were having a small earthquake. The sofa gave the 3 adults headaches because of its sloping seat and low back. I could be wrong, but one night, around 2 a.m., I heard what sounded like the distinct scurrying of little feet in the ceiling. Wonderful condo, very clean. Great location. Manager very helpful and available.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

How lucky we were to arrive at this wonderful, warm condo! It had everything that we needed to feel right at home and comfortable. We loved the huge living room area and well appointed kitchen. While staying at home to cook was tempting we took full advantage of being a nine iron away from the village and the Westin to eat and frolic! The walk to the gondola with our skis was a breeze even for our sometimes whiny 7 year old! Such a great place! Highly recommended to anyone who wants both comfort and convenience! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! P.S, The host made checking in/out easy and answered all of our questions thoroughly!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Very short walking distance to The Village and The Village Gondola. Couldn't be in a better location! The racquetball court is completely unique to this complex...we have gear for you to use! Underground parking for two, which is very rare in Mammoth. Clean, quiet complex that is on the edge of everything there is to do in Mammoth.
