This is the first time ever I write a review about my stay, because I don’t want to take the time to write about the quality of my vacation. However, I have to write something this time, because the owner, Didi, is an extremely nice lady and I TRULY enjoyed my stay at her property. My flight was canceled due to mechanic problem and I called Didi to let her know that I could not make it on the scheduled arrival date. She was very considerate and offered me a refund that I did not even ask for. The stay at the place was great; everything was very clean and nice. I would say it is better than what it looks in the pictures. Upon arrival, I noticed fresh flowers and fresh fruits on the table. The gas fireplace is very nice; it heats up the entire room in a relatively short time. The location of the property is excellent, a short drive to the old town and CSU. I recommend everyone to check out Rocky Mountain Nation Park, the view is breathtaking and only about an hour drive from Fort Collins. The weather condition was terrible on the day I was leaving Fort Collins back to Chicago, Didi texted and offered me a free night of stay in case if I could not make it out due to the weather condition.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I recently stayed here for 2 weeks (end of Jan-Feb). Given my length of stay in Ft.Collins, I opted for a rental vs. hotel room so I had the option to cook my own meals and have more privacy. I couldn't of been happier with my choice. The apartment was very cozy and comfortable. It was stocked with all the necessities to make my stay convenient. Since it is located over a detached garage, it was very quiet. The gas fireplace was easy to operate and kept the whole place nice and toasty. It is locate in a cute neighbor and close to Old Town. Didi (owner) was very helpful and friendly. She was easy to contact and made sure I was taken care of. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks Didi!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My wife and I stayed here January 27th & 28th 2012. The location was great but, it would have been a long walk to Old Town. Very glad we decided to drive to Old Town. But, the house heated up quickly for how cold it got at night. The cable was great and the internet was worked perfect once I realized that the first letter in the password should not be capitalized. One thing to really pay attention to when arriving, the rental is in the back, on an alley. Not on the main street. If you arrive at night, it might be hard to find without realizing it is in the alley. The place is upstairs so if you are gimpy or limited, it might be difficult for you make it upstairs. The stairs would be quite challenge during a snowstorm or ice. But, the patio was a nice feature if you just want to step outside for a moment or if you smoke. Really enjoyed the city of Ft Collins!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Our location is a lovely twenty minute walk to the center of Old Town and about the same distance to the CSU campus. Plus we are quite close to City Park and the local grocery. I always enjoy strolling along the wide streets and seeing the vintage homes, the passers-by and the huge trees, especially in the summertime. The unit is a carriage house which is quite typical for the neighborhood as is the location which is adjacent the alley. I try to provide good directions and keep the lights on so if arriving in the evening, it will be found easily. Further we always shovel the stairs and the walkway following any snow. We have corrected the problem with the internet instructions. Thanks so much for the review we are so happy that you enjoyed our beautiful city!
