Welcome to the "Real" Florida - relaxed, laid back and very friendly. Enjoy this beautifully maintained house in one of the last truly natural areas of Florida. Walk to shops, restaurants, and check out the wonderful ice cream store. There are many terrific artists working in Matlacha whose brightly painted galleries are a must see. And don't forget the fishing! Whether it's from your own dock, the fishing-est pier in Florida (an easy walk from the house), or by boat, it's all here for you to enjoy. For the beach lover and shell collector it's just a short car drive to the beaches of Ft. Myers, Sanibel and Captiva, or to find pristine shelling you can take a water taxi from nearby Pine Island to Cayo Costa, the uninhabited state park island where you will certainly be one of very few beach-goers. This lovely house has two large bedrooms each with queen beds and en suite baths, as well as a pull-out queen sofa area with a separate full bathroom with shower - great for the grandkids. There's so much to do in wonderful Matlacha, just don't forget to relax on island time!
