I stayed there with my husband, in laws and sister and husband and 4 children. The home was very charming and pretty much all the furniture is new. The bathrooms looked newly redone and the home was spotless upon our arrival. It was great to have a bedroom with a small bath to itself on the first floor for my elderly parents. The picnic table was great to eat at all week, but the front yard adirondack chairs were a big hit as well. The area is as the owner describes. It is such a charming street with a great feel to it, quiet and nice neghbors etc, but so close to almost anything you would want to do on vacation within a 2 to 10 minute drive, for kids, adults or the entire family. We are sold on the mid cape! Thanks, John for the pitch....... great location and minutes to the ferries to the island! . Loved that.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I just fnished up an amazing week on the cape. We stayed in the house from July 2-9 and could not have had better weather! It was my 30th birthday and wanted to do something fun and special for it along with the 4th of July. The house was great, clean and comfortable. The house came fully equiped with everything from sheets and towles to utensils and cooking supplies. We brought our own beach towles but they were even there for us. The private beach at the end of the street was great; we went to the public beach, paid for parking but worth it, a lot. It is only a 8 min drive from the house. The neighborhood is very quite but all of the neighbors are friendly. We went into Hyanis for dinner a few nights which is just a short car ride away. We also went to some of the bars around the area as well and had a blast! We went mini golfing at Pirates Cove and bowling one raining day. We had such a great time we are thinking of doing it again next year! John (the house owner) and his assistant, were so helpful with staying in contact and even stopping by the house to make sure we had everything we needed and give suggestions of places to go. The week was great, I could not have asked for a better birthday in a better place!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: We are a small family with lots of friends and relatives. We purchased the home in 2001 as primarily for our love of golf and the beach. We decided Mid Cape and specifically West Yarmouth because there are so many things to do for all ages alike within minutes of the home. Since 2001, we have finally just about finished our full renovation of our charming home and enjoy staying there in all four seasons of the year. The Cape has so much to offer all year round.
