The Game Room with 8' Slate Pool Table, card table, Full Size Foosball Table, Play Station 2, and High Speed Wireless Internet Access will give you plenty of things to do during the occasional passing rain shower. There are 2 cordless phones. This spacious home has an in-ground heated pool and hot tub in an enclosed sunny patio.
Large open dining rooms have two dining tables that seat ten and a smaller table that seats four. The kitchen area has a breakfast bar with additional seating for seven. Overall the house is not clean at all. Lots of things not working, microwave not working, light fixtures hanging and not working outside. One of the biggest problems is ROACHES! Roaches inside & out! The pool filter does not work at all and the pool needs a BIG TIME cleaning. When you call the property managers to express concern you have to call all of the separate people that handles the certain items. It should be the property management making the calls not the guest.Owner response: This is inaccurate at best. We have a professional housecleaning contractor, Oceanside Cleaning Service, that always ensures the home is clean, and we had them return to the property to address the guests concerns. We have a professional pest service, Don Pest Service, who sprays weekly and responds as needed to any concerns. We do not have any roaches at all, however Palmetto bugs are indigenous to the beach area which are large brown beetles, but are not cockroaches. We have a professional pool and spa service, SpaWorks, who cleans and services the units twice a week according to health department regulations. No such complaint about the filter was ever reported. We encourage our guests to communicate with the service personnel to ensure that the issues are communicated correctly, but we ALWAYS call the service personnel to report issues presented by our guests. The second microvwave in the game room was reported as not working and has been replaced. It is probably not a coincidence that this guest wanted the gas grill offered by our Housecleaning Service for free, which we did not have the authority to offer. Our contractors are reputable and well respected on Emerald Isle, and they are used by many other owners and Real Estate operations.
