Hernando Beach is a rural, residential Gulf Coast town with world class fishing. The area is known for its Tarpon. Grouper, snapper, snook, and red fish call this area their home too. The white sand beach of Pine Island, numerous fishing parks and the nearby Weeki Wachee Springs Water Park, home of the Mermaid Show, make it an ideal vacation or winter retreat. Enjoy fine dining at our local gourmet restaurant. Drive a short distance to US 19 and find more National Restaurants, Theaters and shopping. A new Super Walmart is less than 10-minutes from the house.
The home is located about 60 minutes from Tampa International Airport, less than 2 hours from Orlando, Disney World, Universal Studios, Wet & Wild, Sea World and Busch Gardens. Winter, the star in "Dolphin Tale" can be visited at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, about 1 hour drive.
