We were overwhelmed at the quality of the house and the amount of utensils, equipment and homely comforts that furnished the house. All eight of us had a great weekend and didn't really want to leave. If anyone is looking at the website and wondering whether to book. I urge you to do so as it was the best holiday home rental we have ever had." Thanks for a great weekend and such a wonderful house.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family stayed at Cedarwood in December for my husband's birthday. From the moment we arrived we all fell in love with this beautiful house. As you step inside you immediately feel the warmth and comfort due to the most gorgeous design and furnishings - and of course the log fire.Like a 5 star hotel with such thoughtful touches everywhere. The kitchen is so well equipped not only with crockery and cutlery, but also appliances and food items. We hadn't rented before and are always very fussy about where we stay but this exceeded all expectations. We didn't want to leave ! Clare, the owner, is amazing. Not only was she happy to talk on the phone and answer any queries we had while booking but recommended local pubs and restaurants and even booked them for us ! She is also on hand should you need her while at the house. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

A beautifully designed house with upside down theme ie bedrooms are located on ground floor with kitchen on the upper floor. Fully equipped ...........could not ask for anything more :) Location is splendid - near to Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham, Birmingham and the neighbouring pretty Cotswold villages. Been doing vacation rental with my extended family (comprising of 8 members) for many years and this is one of the most beautiful house that we have vacationed in. Suitable for kids; my 8 year old son loves the fish tank and lots of board games to keep the 3 kids occupied in the evenings by the fireplace. We spent a week @ Clare's place (too short was the general lament) and all of us were very pleased; so much space for all of us. Kids and the older members of my family simply love Cotswolds and we will be back again :)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Stayed with family and friends. Property was fantastic, 5 star hotel standard bathrooms and living spaces. Great open plan living, perfect for a family get together. The British summer weather even allowed a couple of afternoons on the balcony overlooking unspoilt countryside.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Stayed here for four nights in February 2012 and it would be difficult to give too much praise. We have booked good quality accommodation many times but this was definitely the best of them all. It is the only time we have felt that the property is even better than the photographs, often we are a little dissapointed when we arrive but not with this place. The attention to detail by the owners is incredible. It is so well equipped that other than our clothes and food there was nothing that we needed - and even food was made easy by the vast array of basic ingredients, spices etc provided. The kitchen had just about everything we have at home and quite a few things that we don't have! The most impressive thing though was the space and comfort, which made us want to stay in more than would usually be the case, and the owners' obvious flair for design - we kept noticing new things every day. The open fire is fantastic and very easy to light and keep going, unlike in many properties we have visited, and the sofas somehow create a very cosy area in what is a large room with impressive high ceilings. There were only two of us staying but even with eight I am sure that there would still be a sense of space and in the summer the balcony and decking would no doubt make it even better. Most of the Cotswolds towns and villages are within easy reach, we found some great pubs for lunch, and a visit to Stratford is very easy. We couldn't fault this place and would like to thank Clare, the owner, for being so helpful and for providing that litlle bit more than she needed too. An amazing property which we can't recommend highly enough.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Six of us spent New Years at this amazing house and we couldn't have been happier. The house itself is even better than the pictures and I know that's hard to imagine! We've travelled the world extensively and have had the opportunity to stay at many amazing hotels and the accommodation and furnishings in this wonderful home rival them. The bedrooms are all tastefully furnished and the beds are absolutely amazing. The linens, duvets and towels are luxurious and extremely comfortable. Two of the rooms have super king beds with en-suites then there are a further two rooms one with a super-king and one with two singles that share a fantastic family bathroom with has a rainfall shower and a large deep bathtub. The upstairs has a beautiful open plan living and dining area. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a great stay. There is ample cutlery, crockery, cookware and glassware and all of a very high standard. The couches are great and there is plenty of room for 6-8 people to lounge comfortably. The fireplace is wood burning and fantastic and keeps the space nice and cosy. I truly can't fault anything with the house and I am a VERY picky traveller. We didn't utilize the outside space as it was obviously quite cold but there are beautiful patios that would be wonderful in the summertime. The village is small and quiet and there are lots of lovely busier villages in the area. Claire, the owner, was amazing and we felt absolutely comfortable our entire stay. The communication lines were wide open, and she suggested some great pubs to go to in the area for New Years Day. We didn't need anything from her during the stay but if we did have any questions she was extremely responsive and would text or call us right away. I cannot recommend this house enough!! If you are considering staying in the area and considering multiple places than definitely pick this house and Claire. Considering the luxurious experience you will receive and the fantastic pricing, you cannot go wrong!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

It is a fantastic house and we really enjoyed our Christmas stay there. The house is very new and spotless, with great design and decoration. It is kept in a great condition by the owner, who just put on delicate Christmas decorations for our stay. The kitchen is well facilitated and the tableware/cutlery is made from Wedgewood. More importantly, the bathrooms are meticulous with a luxury feeling, which are actually better than many 5* hotels we have stayed with. We highly recommend this house and cannot wait to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Broadway:
This house has been my home for 14 years, I have re-designed, decorated and loved it during this time. Early in 2010 I met my partner and we have recently moved into another home together in a nearby village. I love the house and am delighted to have the opportunity to share it with visitors to the area.
