This cozy country cabin is ideally situated on one of Lake Granbury's most peaceful coves.
The upstairs bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed plus picturesque views of the lake and a futon for added sleeping options.
The downstairs offers the convenience of a fully-equipped kitchen, a newly remodeled bathroom stocked with fresh linens and a full-sized sofa bed.
The patio is the place to be! From sitting and savoring your morning coffee to cooking on our gas grill, you will simply love the lake.
Enjoy swimming & fishing off of the dock and bathe in our new outdoor shower!

Bring your 'sweetie' for a weekend getaway while enjoying the best of Granbury. Sip your coffee on the patio, float the cove, shop the square, eat at one of the many fine restaurants and cuddle up at the Brazos Valley Drive-in.

Bring your boat and enjoy the private boat house. No boat? No Problem. The dock is the perfect spot for fishing. And why not enjoy paddling around the cove in our canoe! Looking for more adventure? Dinosaur World and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center are a short drive away in nearby GlenRose. Perfect outing for the family!

We have just the spot to park your 'Home on Wheels!' The cabin is equipped with full hook-ups (30 amp, along with sewer) and an extended drive for convenience.

From antiques and unique gifts to artwork and attire, Granbury features a multitude of shopping opportunities. Browse boutiques and brand name stores or sample and purchase locally-produced wines at the local vineyards.
Guy's Golf Trip?
Granbury offers legendary golfing opportunities at Hidden Oaks Golf Course and in nearby Glen Rose at the Squaw Valley Golf Course.
WARNING - This cabin has a ladder/stairs to access the upstairs. If you have any problems with ladders be aware. There is a sofa that makes out to a bed downstairs.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful little cabin. It had EVERYTHING--it was better stocked than many larger vacation rentals we have gotten in the past. It was immaculately clean, the grill looked brand new (we were almost afraid to use it!), and the beds were extremely comfortable. And so creatively decorated--I've filed away numerous ideas for future decorating in my own house! :) We loved sitting on the porch under the fans and looking over the water, and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. Even though the lake level was a bit low, we were able to do a little fishing, and the view was gorgeous. The owners were so helpful and friendly, and we could not have enjoyed our time there more. We definitely plan to make this spot an at-least annual getaway!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had a great time it was so nice and peacful. The house was so cuite, it had every thing you needed. The lake was great, the fishing was good we caught a 2 lb 10 oz catfish, and a few more good size ones from the dock. We set some jug lines out in the lake and had very good luck. I cant wait to go back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin! It was clean and decorated very cute. We had so much fun on the canoe and even caught several catfish on the dock. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. My only complaint is that ants kept invading the bed, but what can you expect from the outdoors.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a great weekend. The cabin is clean and cute with a beautiful yard. It is located on a safe street with nice houses. My son loved fishing off the dock and got a lot of practice catching fish. We also enjoyed using the canoe.The cove is lovely. We would love to stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

4 girlfriends came for a get away. We were excited how close to Granbury the property is. It is about 5 min to downtown shopping/Walmart/restaurants. We rented a movie at redbox in front of Walmart. The property is exactly as descibed. Very cute decorating inside and very cozy. You need to like each other for 4 people to share this space, but we loved it. Also wanted to rave about a new restaurant inside Christina's. We all enjoyed every bite. Can't wait to come again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our stay at the cabin was perfect! The cabin is so cute and cozy. It is in a really nice neighorhood and has such a nice peaceful cove that you'll enjoy relaxing, swimming, floating, canoeing, fishing and boating. We will definatley be planning another vacation here.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This place was just perfect! Spent 4 days with my wife and 2 daughters (6, and 10 years old) at this quite, peaceful cabin. The cabin had everything that you would ever need. We brought our own boat and used the swing slip to keep it attached to the dock while not in use. This worked out great. The boat ramp is right around the corner and was easy to use. The kids loved fishing right off the dock and catching small turtles, that became there weekend pets. The fishing was great if you like to catch small perch and small catfish. you caught a fish almost every cast, we used worms. We enjoyed sitting on the dock at night and watching the fish, we saw some bigger fish swimming around the dock. The cove is perfect for just hopping on a float or noodle and just laying in the water. The kids loved just swimming around the dock and hanging out by the stairs. The location is perfect right off the main body of water. There is a bigger cove area right on the east side of the cabin where we tubed and hung out away from all the bigger boats. The cabin is close to town and very easy to find. The cabin is decorated really nice and has everything you need to feel comfortable. The outdoor shower was really nice after spending all day in the lake. If you want to have a great time and some bonding time with your family, then this is your place. We will definitely be back soon!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had such a great time. Your cabin was perfect, very clean, decorated cute, such great use of space. The location couldn't have been any better. Houses around were really nice. Fishing was great! Perfect place for 2-6 people. Might such suggest sharing the cable for the TV doesn't work, but other than that again PERFECT spot that we will rent again in the future!...thank you LeahRecommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

About the owner: We are an active family that cherish spending time with our family! From hanging at the soccer fields, volleyball court, or skiing down the mountain's of Colorado, we know that time as a family is important! We bought this cabin in 2003 and have been putting our 'stamp' on it ever since. From installing the sliding doors, porch and remodeling the inside, we simply love our home on the lake. Some might call it small, we choose cozy. It is the perfect size to maintain for a week to weekend getaway and keeps us CLOSE. We hope you enjoy your time away & together at our cozy country cabin! :)
Why the Owner Chose Granbury:
It found us! My husband & I were 'dreaming and driving' and happened upon a FOR SALE sign. We called, met the original owner and builder, and bought it!
It is less than an hour from our home in the Metroplex, and we find ourselves there as much as possible.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Being business owners, it is a convenient place to ESCAPE the pressures of day-to-day life and responsibilities.
We enjoy not having a place to be or a house to keep while hanging at the lake. We haven't added cable, because we simply haven't needed it. We love hanging out on the boat, floating in the cove, or huddled under a blanket on the backporch.
We've been known to throw some great get togethers at the lake. From competitive washer & volleyball games to some mouth watering barbeque, everybody loves the lake.
