Share a piece of our paradise by staying in our great beach apartment only a block from one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Sleep in the queen king size bed with the trades winds gently blowing through the room and wake to the smoothing sounds of singing birds. The unit has an island aloha feeling; it's decorated with Hawaiian Koa wood furniture, the living/sitting area over looks the private walled garden, one bath room with a shower, airconditioning and ceiling fan, big screen TV with cable, wireless internet, access to laundry facilities, custom kitchen and outdoor living spaces.
This apartment also has a second detached bedroom we call the Jacuzzi/Cabana room. The room is located a few steps from the main apartment under the lanai. It has a queen size bed (or twin beds are available) and a small jacuzzi tub and two vanity sinks. However, this room has no toilet. The toilet is located in the master bedroom.
After a day at the beach or exploring Oahu, rinse off in the outdoor shower, relax with a cool drink or use the grill, enjoy a fabulous sun set behind the Koolau Mountains or just sit in the shaded garden areas.
The house is a quick walk to Kailua Town shops, stores and restaurants or to the Kailua Beach park and it's variety of water sport activities. Lots of great hiking is close by. We offer off street parking and a quiet, peaceful neighborhood to serve as your base to visit Oahu.
Our surf and stand up paddle boards, beach chairs, umbrella, etc are available for your use. In addition, our mini dachshund, Maddie, and her pal Lilly will make you always feel safe! So feel free to enter the main yard and borrow beach equipment.

About the owner: I am one of the luckiest women around. I live in a beautiful spacious home in Kailua, Hawaii, one block from the beach, with my awesome husband John and two exceptional teenagers. We love to 'talk story' (the Hawaiian slang term for chatting) with interesting people, spending time together at the beach and watching football - we're Uof A and AZ Cardinals fans! I spend my free time in my garden, reading great books, hiking or walking the beach, and baking/cooking yummy things. Kailua is a lovely town. I'd love to share our piece of paradise with you!
