This beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground floor condominium home underwent a complete renovation. All the windows have been replaced with new thermal aluminum windows that will keep the home quiet and cool. We are also upgraded to a tri-zone air conditioning system with a thermostat in each room so all Guests will be comfortable.
Conveniently located on the ground floor, this home is on the south corner of the building farthest away from the street and noise from busy S. Kihei Rd. It is very easy to park near the home and come into the end without having to go through the entire building each time you come and go. We are only a few short steps to the pool and grassy lawn, and a few more to the sandy beach and ocean beyond. The lanai and master bedroom offer a lush tropical garden view. The Second Bedroom has a torch ginger garden outside the window. We enjoy breakfast and lunch on the lanai and usually have dinner or Happy Hour on the rooftop deck to watch the sunset.
The master bedroom has a California King-size bed, an air conditioner, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and walk-in closet. The windows have with louvered shutters and the bedding is Tommy Bahama. The en-suite master bathroom is remodeled and enlarged.
The second bedroom features twin beds that can be converted to a King-size bed, if desired. The bedding includes Tommy Bahama quilts.The windows look out onto a red torch ginger garden. There is a flat screen TV, paddle fan and air conditioner in this room also. The second bathroom includes an extra deep bathtub with shower. There is a barn door that can be closed to create an en-suite bath if you wish.
The kitchen has been enlarged and features tile flooring, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is an eating bar with pendant lights and counter stools and a wide selection of small appliances (coffee maker, blender, toaster, coffee grinder, rice maker, etc.) to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
For entertainment, this suite includes a flat screen television in the living room complete with DVD player. There are also flat screen televisions in each of the bedrooms.
We have wireless internet service and a secured router. There is also a small safe for you to secure your valuables if you wish.
We have been adding some wonderful local artwork to our home. We are using many local Hawaiian artists. You may recognize Mark MacKay's ceramic koi or Scott Green's Honu or even a couple of Alex Arthur's exciting and colorful local photographs.
We love the area and even if you are not staying with us, we encourage you to stay at the Royal Mauian. It is a beautifully maintained resort and has the best location in Kihei. It is the only resort that I know of that has that fabulous roof top garden with BBQ grills and tables and a spectacular view of the ocean, nearby islands and the Haleakala volcano. The guests are also very friendly enjoying a glass of wine together in the evening or watching their children and grandchildren play together.
