  We stayed here for Spring Break with another family. There was plenty of room for everyone. Location was perfect! Great views! Super easy walk to gorgeous beach! Fresh water lake was awesome, as well. Lots of things to do but still VERY relaxing. Teenagers were thrilled with heated pool, kayaks and paddle boards. Owner's manual (a photo album full of recommendations for nearby restaurants) was very helpful! Short drive to Seaside for lunch, dinner or shopping if you feel like venturing out. House was very clean and well maintained. We can't wait to go back!!

  Once again, we had a fantastic stay at Daniel Dunes! The owners couldn’t be nicer to work with and there are so many extras in the garage! We thoroughly enjoyed the paddle boards that were added! My husband was totally up all the $$ we saved by renting your home since there are so many things you graciously allow your guests to use. Weather was great, sunsets from the decks were beautiful – couldn’t have been a nicer getaway. Didn’t want to leave – can’t wait to come back next year!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We had the most FABULOUS family vacation at this house! Our large family was very happy and loved the spacious bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable too. We spent a lot of time on the multi-level decks watching the ocean and feeling the breeze. We took advantage of the long bike rides and short walk to the beach. They were wonderful! So much thought was put into everything especially the kitchen – they didn’t forget a thing! But the kids’ favorite amenity was the heated pool! It was the perfect temperature even for our off-season visit. I highly recommend renting this house. Neat as a pin, newly and beautifully decorated and it has all the modern conveniences. We can’t wait to go back! :)

  We have stayed at many places along 30A and this is by far our favorite! All our criteria and more were met: VERY close to beach, great gulf views (sitting on the deck watching the sunsets was our favorite thing to do), heated pool with plenty of pool furniture, 2 master suites, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful location (we didn't even realize how great until we got there - being on a lake of Deer Lake State Park was awesome), bike ride away from Seaside and Rosemary, and very clean (whoever cleans this home does an outstanding job). The owners are great to work with and there are so many things in the garage - beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, bikes, kayak, etc - next time we stay, we will have much more room in the car :). We will be booking this home for 2013 - from the calendar, we obviously need to decide on our dates quickly because it looks like weeks are booking up already!

  We had a GREAT stay over the New Year’s holiday last year. Like a previous reviewer, I was hesitant to leave a review because I thought we may want to keep this place a secret :). The BEST thing about this home is how very close you are to the beach and the wonderful gulf views – it is as close to being a gulf front home as you can get without the gulf front prices. The walk to the beach is not more than 1 minute and there is very little traffic– so easy to go back and forth throughout the day. Both master bedrooms are very large – can easily fit a couple of kids on an air mattress along with the parents. The house is very well equipped – we didn’t even need to bring any beach chairs or umbrellas – everything we needed was already there for us to use in the garage. Kids loved biking to Seagrove/Seaside and having a kayak whenever we wanted was very nice too. The pool was great - very private with the lake in back. We will definitely be booking for next year!   This house was amazing! Everything was lovely and in wonderful condition. Upon arrival I was a little disappointed about so many properties surrounding the house-was I wrong! Once inside, this place was totally private. Never did I feel that other people were on top of us and the pool is so secluded with a private view of the lake. The bedrooms and baths are spacious. We had our children and young grandchildren and there was plenty of room and privacy for all. We took portacribs and high chairs and there was ample room for all. The balconies are totally enclosed with gates at the top of each staircase. Everything that you could ever need is included. We were so pleased with all of the beach equipment-all we needed were our towels and sunscreen. The beach was never too crowded even though we were there in July. The beach is just across a small road with little traffic. We had four cars and parking was never a problem. We walked, ran or biked everyday. Bikes were furnished for all ages. It is a short distance to the main road and then the walk/bike paths go for miles in both directions. Our only regret was that we did not have time to take the kayak out. The entire house is stone tile. This is great for a house on the beach. A little worrisome with young toddlers but we never had any problems. The owners seem to really care about their property. My questions were answered immediately. This was a terrific find for us. We could not have had a better house to bring our family together in. It helped make our vacation a week to remember. Would definately rent this house again.

  This home was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room and the updates were so nice. The pictures don't do the place justice, the two upstairs bedrooms are HUGE!!! The beach takes maybe a minute to get to and the beach views from the house are wonderful. We didn't even need to bring our beach chairs there were a ton at the house along with umbrellas, boogie boards, kayak and bicycles. We rode bicycles daily, the trip to Seaside was not bad at all and you could even ride to Rosemary Beach, We recommend doing that early in the morning because it gets kinda hot. Do not be afraid to rent this house, it has everything you need and the most perfect location. We hope to vacation here again!!!

  WOW! What a beautiful home. The pictures will never be able to capture the true beauty and serenity of this beach home. We will definitely be staying here again. The ocean is literally feet away from the front door so it was easy to escape to the sand at any time of day and night. We saw the sun rise, the sun set and we even ventured out at night to see the crabs in the sand. This home has great crosswind when you open all the doors on the main floor. We never even turned the unit on and my mother and father (retirement age) were nice and comfy in the in-law suite just off the garage. We didn't eat out much, but cooked every meal in and the kitchen was equipped with all the utensils and pots and pans that we needed. One of the highlights of the weekend was finding out that the bike rental shop actually delivers and picks up......so we took a bike ride to seaside and back several times.......it was an easy ride and so enjoyable. Well, I could go on and on........we truly did not want to leave. Just as a reference, the listing is very accurate about the number of people who can sleep in this home comfortably.

  We were one of three families that stayed at Daniel Dunes over spring break. This is a great house. Well appointed with everything you need and things we didn't even know we needed. Wood floors, new furniture, and spacious rooms that were beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very nice and has high quality appliances. There is a very nice pool, but the truth is, the proximity to this amazing beach is what makes this house even more outstanding. You're literally on the beach in 60 seconds! It's located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by other beautiful beach homes. Marina and Patrick have thought of everything, including providing beach chairs, ping pong, boogie boards, and a kayak, which was used every single day. They also left behind a binder full of their recommendations and information on everything to do in the area. The 30-A location is amazing, and our spring break couldn't have been better.   Fantastic home!!  Pictures don't do the views justice - this house is VERY close to the beach - very convenient.  The owners did a great job with the updates to the home - one of the best places we have stayed on 30a - not crowded and a short distance to Seaside and Rosemary.  We will definitely be booking a return visit.
