This remodeled stone and wood chalet is well situated, very convenient for skiers, and easy to find in Upper Kingsbury on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Drive less than a mile to the entrance of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and three miles to the major casino. A guest room on the second floor has a jacuzzi tub for soaking. A circular driveway holds parking for up to eight cars and a boat.

With two small steps, enter this home to find a richly finished wood interior with open-beamed ceilings and hardwood floors. Newly furnished in forest and meadow colors, the comfortable living room opens to a dining room area with a completely remodeled and fully-equipped kitchen. There is immediate seating for six at the dining table. Along with bar stools and expansion leaves, this home can seat 14 for dining.

Also on the first floor is a master bedroom with a king-size bed and its own full bath along with a 25-inch TV. Enter a cozy den through French doors off the kitchen for another area to just relax or enjoy the 25-inch TV with VCR. This room also offers a sleeper sofa. We also have DSL/internet capability.

The second story of this mountain home features THREE LARGE bedrooms. The first of which is a large master with a king-size bed and its own full bath. Another bedroom features a queen-size bed, queen-size sleeper, and entertainment center with a 32-inch TV, DVD/VCR, stereo with CD player, and is serviced by a hall bath. The last of the three upstairs bedrooms has two queen-size beds, its own full bath, a spacious Jacuzzi tub, and a 27-inch TV with DVD. There is a separate private entrance to this guest bedroom. All bedrooms in this home have very generous closets.

The home itself contains two large hot water tanks for continuous hot water and is located on the well-maintained Kingsbury Grade Road which is always clear. In the summer, two major beaches are located within a ten-minute drive. A property manager is nearby and can assist with any problems that may arise with the home. Sorry, No smoking and No Pets

  • Just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful place to stay! We stayed with our friends and their kids for President's Day weekend. This house was perfect. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. There was plenty of same. No one fought over TV'S because there were 4. The kids loved sledding in the backyard and the hot tub. Good times were had by all. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation!! We'll be back next year.

  • We stayed at this very clean and spacious property in the summer with both sets of grandparents. We each had private rooms with our own bathrooms and the master suite jacuzzi was a delight. What a location, the kids went to the lake, the boys went biking and the grandparents went shopping and to the casinos. We cannot wait to stay again. Thank your for sharing your wonderful home!

  • We really enjoyed staying at this Tahoe house. It was very spacious especially their drive way. I loved how the house made everyone feel at home. Most of us didn't even go snowboarding.   • We really enjoyed our stay in your Tahoe vacation home! The house is very comfortable and the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms were a real treat. We had 6 adults and 3 children and we felt like we had plenty of space to spread out! The location of the home is wonderful also. We would highly recommend staying here while vacationing in Tahoe!

  • We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful and spacious chalet. We spent a long weekend there with 2 other families, and there was easily enough space for everyone! It has to be said that the beds are as comfortable as it gets, so we came back feeling really rested. One of the great attributes of this house is its location. It is easily accessible and close to the lake, the mountains, the casinos and just about anything else you would ever want or need. We all had a blast! Thank you Hickey Family for sharing your wonderful house with us!

  • We stayed at this wonderful house in the first of our 2 weeks in Tahoe. We had out 3 grown children with us and it was wonderful for each of them to have their own room and private bath. After busy days at the casinos and on the water it was wonderful to come home to our own space. The house had everything we could ask for and was quite convenient to both sides of the mountain. We loved cooking in the kitchen, playing cards at the huge table and curling up with a good book on one of the many couches throughout the house. The second week we moved up to a house on the side of the mounatin which had a great view, but we all agreed that the Stone Chalet was cozier and decided the next time we visit Tahoe we will spend both weeks here. Thnk you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.
