Located on a private stairway which includes 7 other apartments, this apartment is composed of a master bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds, a large living room with a pull-out couch, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a spacious private terrace overlooking the sea. The apartment is very central; a 5-minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. As Positano is built up on a hill, we like to warn guests that there are steps to take in order to reach the apartment and get around town.
From the nearby dock you can take daily ferries to famous destinations such as Amalfi, Ischia, Capri, Sorrento and Salerno. Privates boats are also available for daily trips to out-of-the-way places along the Amalfi Coast (grottoes, small islands, secluded beaches and more). You can also rent rubber boats for you own pleasure. Buses and trains connect the more adventurous tourists to Pompei, Erculaneum, Paestum and Ravello.

Casa Caldiero is situated in one of the best locations in Positano. From any terrace, one can view the beautiful Mediterranian , the boats ,beach and interesting people.The owners are extremely knowledgeable about the city and surrounding areas. The living quarters are clean, comfortable and very near the best restaurants, art galleries, and shops. I have recommended this bella casa to my friends and and relatives. and no one has ever been disappointed. Since my first visit three years ago, I have returned annually. and intend to do so again and again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

My wife and I rented this apartment with friends last June and we had a perfect stay. It is very convenient to the ferry dock and town center. The apartment group is simple and well maintained with a private alley/stairway and the apartment itself had every convenience you could ask for. The heart of the experience is the fantastic terrace with its breathtaking view of sea and sparkling "cittadina". It is hard to tear yourself away to do any touring when your home base is so picture post card perfect. The friendly and knowledgeable management is a big plus too. Positano is such a gem.

We had such a wonderful stay that we are retuning next summer for our Honeymoon!

My boyfriend and I spent two unforgettable weeks at the Casa Caldiero residence. Positano is the most beautiful place we have ever visited, and the apartment with its luxurious balcony and fantastic location was all and more than we could have asked for. We would wake up every morning to the breathtaking view from the glass doors of our bedroom, and could be down on the beach, strolling on the boardwalk, or eating at a restaurant in 5 minutes. Positano is also perfectly located on the Amalfi Coast. There are ferries leaving from the port below (3 minutes away) which connect one to Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, and Naples. The apartment itself was spotless, there are views of the sea from almost every room, and the antique furniture with which the apartment is furnished add a beautiful touch. Letizia, the landlord with her Italian charm was wonderfully kind and helpful, and answered all of our many questions. The time just flew by, and we were so sad to leave, but have already reserved an apartment next summer for our Honeymoon!
