This property is amazing. We were in town for the IAFF fallen firefighter memorial and did not want to stay in a hotel. There were 6 of us total that came from AZ for the memorial. Everyone of us loved the location of the property. Very close to shopping which made it nice not having to eat out every meal. We all enjoyed eating on the patio while watching the neighborhood deer graze in the trees behind the house. As long as we come back for the memorial we will be trying to get the house. Thank you for a great stay. IAFF local I-60 Honor GuardRecommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We loved staying in your home! What a perfect setting. May I express our sincere thanks for the delightful bag of treats! How classy and how hospitable. Additionally your loan of Christmas tree stand, skirt and lovely decorations too. Our tree looked grand. Your kitchen is one of the best VRBOs I have used. You have really included so many of the necessary tools, it has been a pleasure to cook. I was able to prepare everything I needed and our family really appreciated how comfortable your home made them feel. There was more than enough space for everyone to relax and have a wonderful visit with relatives who also live in Colorado Springs. Your home gave us the chance to relax and unwind and have a fantastic 2012 Christmas. The pool table, the TV, the wonderful set up has been perfect for us. One of your neighbors even put the garbage cans up to the garage on Monday night before we returned at 6:30 from our evening Church service. We are sad to leave this delightful setting! We have stayed in VRBOs all over the world and this has topped them all! The owner's have carefully thought about the needs of the kitchen as well as entertainment for all ages! My grand nieces and grand nephews really thought it was special to visit and play with the duplos. We hope to be back at another time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a huge house. It is stocked with everything you will need for a great vacation. The recent deck added to the top level of the house is welcoming and a great place for morning coffee. Five large bedrooms, and three bathrooms were great. We were able to use the garage, so we felt very safe. The best running trail is very close. Thank you for a great place to stay, we loved it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

[Excerpt from guestbook] As grandma of the Klotzbach group, I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated being able to gather all my children/grandchildren in one home for a few days. Three generations of Klotzbachs stayed for a week and we absolutely loved the house and stay! Very beautiful house that worked perfectly. The double bunkbeds worked great for the 3rd generation to be together at night - reminiscient of the 2nd generation's owns stays at their grandparent's house with their cousins. It was great not to have to deal with bugs - especially mosquitos. The house was more than enough room for the 13 of us. There were plenty of beds, tables, chairs, and space. Everyone had a fantastic time! The wildlife was great! The deer almost seemed tame (I saw people playing frisbee in the park, getting close to the deer when the frisbee got out of control). There were several rabbits in the neighborhood. The kids wanted to stay forever, saying more than once, "I love CO." Very lovely place! We fully enjoyed the scenery and attractions. This location is perfect - close to lots of sites, even closer to the school playground! The quiet basement bedroom is perfect for grandparents too! Thanks so much for allowing us all to stay here during our vacation and making it so easy for us to feel comfortable and at home while here.Did you find this review helpful? [Excerpt from guestbook] Meeting in a central location we found this a great place! Two of us are from Las Vegas, one family from MN, and 2 families from WI. We love your beautiful home! Great for our kiddos. The hike up the hill and view is awesome! The park and mule deer kept us entertained. While here we went to a Sky Sox game, Focus on the Family, Pikes Peak (half hiked, half drove and few cog railway), Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Flying W Ranch, and Broadmoor for ladies lunch. Thanks for all the great amenities, comfortable home, and the amazing pile of legos!! Our 4 toddlers were entertained while the baby gate blocked our exploring 1 year old. Thanks again - we'd recommend this spot and fantastic location again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed here for 4 days while we were in Colorado Springs for a wedding. It was very roomy and comfortable and had an especially lovely deck (with many chairs) and a walking path in back of the house. We saw many deer and especially enjoyed our morning coffee while visiting out on the deck. We also really enjoyed the family room downstairs with a big screen TV and pool table. The house was not far from Garden of the Gods. We would definitely recommend this place for a family vacation or reunion with a couple of families.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Wonderful relaxing vacation! House was as described, very comfortable, clean and well maintained. This was our first VRBO rental and it was a very positive experience for our group of 8 adults and 6 children under the age of 5. The owner was very easy to work with and helpful before and during our stay. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to local attractions. Pretty area with a walking path behind the house and very close to a playground. Highly recommended and we would most definitely stay there again!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our cadet's graduation; the house was spacious, well appointed, and conveniently located for all our activities that week. We used the lovely kitchen for many terrific meals, and my family had time to relax and spend time together around the fireplace, or the pool table, or the amazing deck that backs to a green belt area (beautiful and private!) There are tons of interesting activities in this area, like hiking and Pike's Peak, and the weather is incredible. I would highly recommend this house for your next Colorado Springs stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We have lived in Colorado Springs most of our lives and enjoy all that the Colorado mountains have to offer - biking, hiking, camping, snowboarding/skiing, etc.
Why the Owner Chose Colorado Springs:
It's a nice house with lots of space both inside and out, in a quiet suburban neighborhood, close to I-25.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
So much to see close to the house ... hiking and mountain biking in Ute Valley Park or Garden of the Gods, exploring the Air Force Academy ... conveniently located near major highways to get to the mountains and their slopes, Denver attractions and sporting events, shopping, U.S. Olympic Training Center, and much more! We also love the mature landscaping, the front fountain and the fact that the house is very private even though it's in a neighborhood, with no neighbors on the back and one side of the house.
