  Our family has just returned from our fourth stay at the Hali'i Kai Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities here and will return again! This was our first stay at this particular condo and we were very pleased with the location. The unit is on the main floor and is very close to the ocean club and weight room. The condo is well equipped for cooking and the BBQ is new and worked very well. All appliances were clean and in good working order. The unit included beach toys and chairs, boogie boards, towels and tennis racquets. The owners were very flexible and accommodating with our check in and out, as our flights changed numerous times after booking. We actually met the owners while we were there and they were kind enough to surprise us by buying our lunch one day at the pool. We highly recommend this property if you are visiting the big island. Check out the Kona Brewing Company for great beer, homemade pizza and fresh garden salads.

  Thank you Richard and Laura! Your propery was amazing. The pictures were exactly what we received. The unit was clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. We had our family and a set of granparents stay with us, so it was nice to have the bedroom and bathrooms divided between the front and back of the condo. Although... the master bathroom was so incredible that our teenage daughters snuck in a few showers there as well! The location of this unit couldn't have been any better...you can sit on your own lanai to watch the sunset! With less than a 1 minute walk to the pool and resort area, we found it so convenient. The pool area was stunning with paradise written all over it.... where else can you peek up from the pool or your lounger and watch whales frolicking right in front of you! Richard and Laura were very helpful in answering any questions we had and made the process of booking conveniet and easy. I would recommend this property to friends and family. The Waikoloa Beach Resort has the King's and Queens shopping with more of the label brand stores. It's approx. 1.5-2 miles away from this unit. I would recommend a vehicle to enjoy the rest of the Island as well. A 30 min drive into Kona gives you lots of eating options as well little resort town shopping places. We really loved the Kona Brewing Company (known for their pizza) and the Ultimate Burger. And our favorite beach was Hapuna Beach (approx. 15 min drive North) Hoping to return one day soon!

  A very nice 3/2 unit, we had 3 adults and one toddler and there was plenty of space. The unit is nicely decorated and included everything we needed. One big bonus of this unit was its location - easy walking distance to the pool/bar area, which is very nice (and fairly quiet the week we were there). It was nice to have a new grill to whip up a quick lunch or dinner. Richard, the owner, was very responsive to any requests/questions we had. The complex itself is well located; easy to get to the other resorts/shops/beaches in the Waikoloa area.

  We stayed in this unit for two weeks (February / March) and it was absolutely fantastic. This was our second trip to Hali'i Kai and we will certainly be returning. The location of the unit is ideal as it is in walking distance to the pool. The unit was well outfitted and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen essentials. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated. The unit was also equipped with pool / beach accessories. We LOVED having the BBQ grill on the lanai. If we did have any questions, the owner was reachable and / or always responded in a timely manner. We traveled as a family and brought young children with us, this unit had both a high chair and a pack and play so it made our travels hassle free. We especially love the grill / bar at the pool, it was so convenient to not have to go back to the unit for a snack or beverage. There are many fantastic restaurants in the area, our two favorites for a sunset dinner are the Canoe House at Mauna Lani and Pahu i`a at the Four Seasons. We also enjoy lunch at Merriman's at Waikoloa Village. Since we traveled with family, it was convenient and cost effective for us to join Costco and stock up each week. Cooking in the unit was a breeze as it was well equipped with everything we needed. If you are looking for a little piece of paradise you will find it here! We certainly plan to return!
