This unique rental property lies between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, an ideal location for visiting the region both towards Sorrento, Pompei and Naples, and towards the Amalfi Coast.
The house, accessed by its own private gate, is a portion of a nineteenth century villa which has been completely renovated. The house has been furnished with excellent taste by its young owners; from the furniture to the lamps, everything comes from the best-known European designers.
One of the main feature of this house is the amazing 180° panorama that can be enjoyed both from the living-rooms and from the large private terraces that surround them, as well as from the beds of the bedrooms you can enjoy an amazing view of Capri Island. The dazzling white of the house and the blue of the sea in the panoramic backdrop are the two colors that strike visitors to this house, a perfect refuge after a day-trip around the area.
The property is developed on two floor: on the ground floor is the large living room with access to the terrace furnished with sunbed, sunumbrella ,table and chairs,; kitchen ; 1 double bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower. I cannot express how beautiful this villa is. The views are magnificent and the interior design exceptional. Guido and his wife were so welcoming, and they were always just a phone call away in the event that we needed anything. Thankfully with my lack of the Italian language, they speak English very well and we had no difficulties. My only problem was that I didn't stay long enough, but I plan to return and fix that! Thank you again Guido for sharing your amazing property with us! The views from the beautiful terraces are some of my favorite memories of Italy.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We absolutely loved this villa. Very comfortable and the view is unbelievable - and changes with the time of day, clouds, ocean. The owner, Guido, is very nice and went out of his way to ensure we had a good time. It is a great location, and make sure you rent a small car. 10-15 minutes out of Sorrento towards Massa Lubrense, close enough to be in the busy streets with shopping and dining and also to feel like you're in a small Italian village. Will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Beautiful house with spectacular views. I am an Italian who has lived in London for several years and last summer (june 2011) I finally decided to rent a house a in Sorrento, the city where i was born, as I I wanted to spent a period there with my english boyffriend and a couple of frineds. . I was really worried about the choice of the house to rent as I wanted a memorable place to stay. Notwithstandng I can now tell Casa Mariavittoria has been definetevly the right choise, the house is brand new, decorated modern and above all with a breathtaking view. The beach is only 1 km and the center of Sorrento, very busy in summer, is close enough (4 km). Guido and Ornella are a lovely landlords who share with you their knowledge of the city and always suggest you interesting thinghs to do. I was worried about my friends who I have dragged on this vacation, but could not get any better than that.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

the location is great. the view from the Spacious balconies that surround the house is really breathtaking. all you need is a glass of limonchello and you feel like you are in paradise. the hospitality of guido and ornella was wonderfull. the house is well equiped in all mannares (kitchen, audio and video, furniture etc). you must have a car (small one is prefferd..) to travel in the area. the port of sorrento is not far and you can take ferry from their to capri (don't miss it) and napoli we followed guido recomendation and took a private boat (ask for jovani) for a all day to capri and the amelfien coast. not cheap but it was unforgettable and the best day.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.
