  The cabin was everything we were hoping for. We have 3 small kids so we wanted a cabin that was nestled in the woods for snow play yet close to activities. The backyard opens up to a large open space that was great for the kids to explore and play. We also appreciated the cabin was kid- friendly. A lot of the other cabins I researched had a loft with narrow stairs (stressful with 19 mo old). The big stuffed bear was a hit as well! Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin with us!

  Springs Mountain Getaway is the most well appointed VRBO rental we have stayed in! From the location in Tahoe Donner to the comfort level of this fabulous home, this is a find! The home is spotless, the beds- super plush, the 'living space'- perfect. Our only complaint-- we booked for just 2 nights! This is a great snow and sun rental!

  This cabin was the perfect size for our two families. The furnishings were very nice, loved the location, the beds were comfortable. It felt like many parts of the home were recently remodeled because of their excellent condition. The lot was large with a large open area in back of the property, so the kids were happy just exploring at home for part of our stay. Very convenient procedure to reserve online and pay with credit card, and very prompt refund. Everything was easy breezy.

  This was our second stay at this cabin. Thank you to the owners for having the snow cleared from the decks! Our kids were able to enjoy Tahoe Donner ski resort for their third time skiing. The hills are more beginner/intermediate so this was a great place for the family. Clean and charming! The kids loved the bunk beds and the big bear!

  We love this place! The furniture and decor is super nice. All the beds are very comfortable and the couches are too. Everything is updated and seems new. Its not the typical "cabin". We've stayed twice now and we recommend it to all our friends. We had two families and it worked out perfectly. The owner is very quick to respond to questions. Can't say enough good things about this home! We'll be back.

  I can't say enough great things about our stay here! Epic ski days and Tahoe Donner is such a convenient location for all ski resorts. We skied Alpine and it was amazing! Our children made forts in the snow, made a huge ski run down the back yard (which is all open with no cabins behind it). We used the passes provided to sled at the club park. They provide sleds, so we didn't need to purchase any. Super fun for our little ones. The cabin was very clean. I loved the dishes and fun kitchen gadgets as my husband and I both love to cook. I didn't hear one noise in the night, very quiet. The mattresses from what I understand are all new, and they were so comfortable. We have already planned our next trip to come back here next year!

  My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this immaculate home in November, 2011. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to book a stay for a week in June! The home itself is located in the heart of the Tahoe Donner community and is easily accessible to all the major ski resorts and other activities that the town of Truckee has to offer. The home is very cozy and accommodates dual families! It is a definite must stay for anyone looking for a relaxing and wonderful vacation!!!

  The house was warm and cozy with wonderful new bedding and furniture. Super clean and in a quiet peaceful setting. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation with the family. Located in Tahoe Donner, the amenities are superb and there was always something fun to do. We will definitely make this an annual event!

  I loved my stay at the Springs Mountain Retreat! We stayed there in the summer. The amenities were amazing. It was very comfortable and clean! I really loved the cozy blankets on the couch and my bed was great- no back aches!! The beds were obviously upgraded! Tahoe Donner is the place to be! We love this area!
