This beautiful Traverse City Cottage has it all!! Two bedrooms, two full baths and direct frontage on all sports sandy bottom Bass Lake. Come enjoy a week or more in the heart of all the Northern Michigan activities and yet only six miles from downtown Traverse City!
Bring your boat or rent one locally and feel free to use our 40 foot dock. Swimming is perfect here with a sandy gentle slope which is perfect for children and enjoy the warm lake water on this inland lake. Many of the locals think this is the best fishing lake in the area. Feel free to use our rowboat and peddleboat as well.
Countless upgrades have been completed on this property. Upgrades include cable TV, stone fireplace, Washer and Dryer, 32 inch TV with DVD & VCR. Also, TV in Master Suite with DVD & VCR as well. This property is even serviced by ORKIN to avoid those unwanted up north critters.
This is a great location for all Northern Michigan activities and yet very secluded and quiet.

Why the Owner Chose Traverse City
This is a fantastic location. Up North feeling, but Traverse City is only 6 miles away. Also, great restaurants, golf, malls, etc. within 3 miles.
Interlochen Center for the Arts very close as well with great concerts.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The cottage is unique in that it is very spacious and private on the inside and only 10' from the beautiful water through the screened in porch. This unique benefit has been grandfathered in and could not be re-built this way. It is a great relaxing place to be - on the water without the annoying mosquitoes and sipping your coffee or a cocktail.

We really enjoyed renting this cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and had all amenities as advertised, allowing for both grill and kichen cooking. It was literally 20 feet from the lake, where we enjoyed rowing, paddleboating, and swimming. We also enjoyed the close drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes (30 minutes away) and frequent visits to Traverse City (10 minutes away).

Waht a great time in Northern Michigan! This place is phenomenal and so close to the water it is like being on a yacht! Everything is very close, yet we felt secluded. Excellent lake, quiet and friendly. Great fishing. Great Swimming. Be back in the fall!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

We throuoghly enjoyed our stay at Bass Lake. What a charming and quiet place. Sat on the deck in the mornings and watched the sunrise. Could have stayed another week.

We had an absolutely delightful time staying in this fully-equipped cottage. The cottage is right on the lake with a great view. The lake is ideal for fishing and relaxing.

Thanks to all the extra touches we LOVED this cabin. The screened in porch was awesome and used all the time. Having cable and internet access was a terrific bonus for us. Also loved the fireplace, which came in handy on a couple of cool nights. The lake was quiet, fishing was great and an all around relaxing place. Location is perfect- not far from anything. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning next year. Thanks!!!!!
