  Wir haben eine schöne Woche im Lake House verbracht. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig am See, alles ist schön bewachsen und ideal zum entspannen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben bzw. so wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist- es fehlt einem an nichts. Der Strand ist nicht mal 5 min. mit dem Auto entfernt, auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, wie eine Mall und alle möglichen Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Den angrenzenden See hatten die Kinder zum Baden, Angeln und für Ausflüge mit dem Surfbrett und Treetboot genutzt. Hier gibt es jede Menge Tiere zu entdecken. Wir würden bei einem nächsten Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder das Lake House buchen.

Review translated to English We spent a lovely week at the Lake House. The house is on a very quiet lake, landscaping is very mature and ideal spot to relax. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We immediately felt comfortable. Everything was as advertised as seen in the pictures not lacking in anything. The beach is not a 5 min drive away, shops, such as a mall and all kinds of restaurants are nearby. The adjacent lake, the children swam, fished and used the surfboard and Treetboot. Here you can discover a lot of animals. We will book our next visit there again, at the Lake House.

  My friends and I had a great stay at the Lake House. From the early check-in, the very clear instructions on how to play our DVD's / IPODS using the huge TV, BBQ grill for most of our dinners and the hottub, we really enjoyed ourselves. We loved everything about the house and even took the paddle boat out for a ride and napped in the hammock. It was so relaxing that we took naps almost every day. The guitar and piano got alot of use too! We had a couple of promising musicians in our group and they took several opportunities to play the guitar. The beach was close enough to run to (about 30 minutes).

  We....a party of 4 adults....spent a week at Lake House following a cruise. Paul met us and explained everything we needed to know about the property. We all enjoyed the wonderful grounds and the furnishings and will return again if the situation arises. Thanks, Paul!

  We would recommend this home to anybody. We had a great experience. When we arrived the home owner met us and walked us through and showed us what we need to know he was very friendly and helpfu. We then relaxed, relaxed and relaxed. It was so beautiful, the landscaping and the house were both very clean and well maintained. It was very close to the grocery store, the beach and shopping. We would recommend anybody to stay. Young or old. We took our growen family with us and sat in the hot tub every night, ate outside morning and night. It was beautiful. We had a great (short) get away, next time we will plan to stay longer.

  Paul's home was a fantastic choice for our family of six adults. We grilled each evening and spent relaxing time in the backyard and out on the paddle boat. The beds were very comfortable - we would love to return again!

  Wonderful stay. Very comfortable and a great place to unwind. Nicely equipped, enjoyed the large jacuzzi every night, barbecue and simply relaxing outdoors every evening. Thanks for the lovely home Neil

  Great house! We stayed there last week and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and in a good location, very convenient and very private. The owner went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. The beds are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on.

  I will keep this review short and sweet as there are really no negatives I can come up with. Rented this house for 7 days in December/2011 and everything exceeded our expectations. Paul was an amazing host who even had snacks and drinks prepared for us before our late-night arrival. Our group included 3 adults and an infant, and the place was perfect for us. Paul went out of his way to prepare a baby crib (brand new!) and high chair for us which truly made us feel at home. The house itself appeared newly renovated yet very classy. Amenities described in this ad were all accurate. Highlights: HOT TUB, flat-screen TV's in every room with cable, numerous sitting/dining areas (great for breakfast). Location is in a quaint neighbourhood in close proximity to everything - 40 mins to Miami, minutes to Fort Lauderdale beaches / Las Olas, 30 minutes to Sawgrass Mills. Overall, would certainly recommend this place for any family vacation. I know we would definitely like to be back ASAP.

  Marvelous vacation! We plan for sure to come back as soon as possible! Everything was more than expected! We would recommend the Lakehouse to everyone who is sensible to: the nature, to an inviting house with delicate taste decoration, a beautiful landscape, so clean and well-maintained with all commodities needed included for every member of the family, just name it! We enjoyed the spa and the paddle boat on the lake (there is so much to discover: birds, turtles and ducks). It was nice walking around in a peaceful and secure environment. It is also a good location for all kind of attractions and facilities and only ten minutes by car to the beach. I can go on and on to describe all the advantages of this place. It is a home to rejuvenate and to restore ourselves. The owner Paul is adorable he is there as soon as we have a need. We love him!   We are local to Fort Lauderdale and had a large family gathering coming in from out of state. We were so lucky to find the Lake House! Paul was fantastic and couldn't have been more accommodating to any wish we had. The house is exactly as photographed! Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing and just the best vacation home in Broward County (and probably beyond)! The house is so spacious that the family can either spread out into various rooms or all gather in the extra-large family room. Three full size couches accommodate a huge family! The family really enjoyed the paddle boat and hot tub! I highly encourage anyone coming to lovely Fort Lauderdale to book this vacation home! You won't be disappointed!

  We are currently staying at the Lake House and my kids are in love with the wildlife, not to mention the beach. My husband and I walk the Lake House neighborhood, which is great, safe and lots of walkers, and beach for exercise and sun. We have used the Sundance jacuzzi every night!!! It's a sports massage spa. The property is maintained immaculately, with gardeners; Paul, the manager made our check-in so smooth, our flight was late - he had dinner waiting for us as a surprise. We love him. The furnishings are plush very nice, our kids are very respectful and the kids have their own room, DVD and TV, Internet, and games.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We had the best stay in the lake house. It had everything we needed, and if we needed anything, Tom was very helpful. He fixed two baby cribs and two highchairs for us. That's really good service =) The house was very clean, and didn't have any bugs in it. We were 4 adults, two babies and one 3 year old. The outdoor bubble bath was amazing. Also the garden was really cosy. First we did not want to rent it because it didn't have a pool, but we did not miss it at all. Went to the beach or did other stuff daytime, and enjoyed the bubble bath nigh time. The area was quiet and nice. Would absolutely recommend a stay here. Thanks for a good stay, and excellent service Tom =)

  Our family of six (all adults) enjoyed our three day stay at the Lake House recently. It is absolutely lovely and so comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi, paddle boats and common space in which to visit, play games or just relax! The owner, Tom, was just a phone call or e-mail away to answer any questions that we had prior to our stay or to address any concerns during our visit. We also appreciated the well equipped kitchen in which we prepared many of our meals as well as the grill in the beautifully landscaped outdoor area. The laundry facilities were a great plus too! We hope to have an excuse to return one day! Thank you Tom for everything!
