  My family and I stayed 5 wonderful days in this beautiful waterfront home. The house was everything we wished for, large yet welcoming. The property was equipped with everything you could possibly need, pots, pans, cups, etc., etc. Our family totaled 16 people for our visit and everyone were virtually rendered speechless by the amenities of this lovely property. Our family vowed to visit this wonderland again very soon. PS It was a pleasure and effortless reserving this property, the owners Mr. and Mrs. Kappmeyer were a joy to deal with.   My family celebrated our Mother's 80th surprise birthday on the Riviera. We had 4 generations of family in from College Station, Virginia and S. Carolina. This property was everything we thought it would be and more. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and even find some peace and quiet with 14 people under one roof. The views to watch the sun peak over the bay and set was extraordinary. The young adults spent alot of time casting a fish net from the dock and fishing at night near the underwater green light. We took our Ranger Ghost and drove to Cove Harbor for fishing. We had 1 van, 1 SUV, 1 convertible PT Cruiser and 1 Tundra Toyota Truck parked in the parking area and even had plenty of room for the boat. Access to plenty of restaurants was perfect. At night time we would all sit around and visit and catch up on family every night. Dinners were great because we could eat at the large dining table and watch the sun set while sipping wine(s). For the surprise birthday dinner, we all celebrated at Bellino's and had the small room all to the family. This restaurant is literally 2 minutes away. We have frequented Rockport for 12 years and this is one truly "nice" place to stay. Six nights was just perfect for our entire family. God blessed us with exceptional weather which made the stay epic. If you are looking for a large clean house to accommodate a large group of friends or family, I would recommend this property. We will definitely return in the near future.

  My husband, mom and and I spent a few days in this lovely home. Being land locked in the central part of the US, we were excited about staying in a home that had pretty water views and possibly seeing some sea life. This home and the view exceeded all expectations. Inside this home, we found soothing colors and such an inviting vibe we never wanted to leave. The owners have provided such a personal touch in all of the rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with any dishes or utensils we needed. I don't know if this is typical but around 5:30 each evening was when we saw the dolphins. We sat on the back upstairs or downstairs porch, had a cocktail and watched dolphins and all sorts of birds. Sadly, we had to leave but are already making plans to come back to this beautiful home with its incredible view.

  This was a beautiful home with a wonderful view! You can watch the porpoise play in the water during the day and see absolutely stunning sunsets!! One morning we saw a deer jump off the pier and splash through the water! We kayaked and fished right off the property. It has an excellent porch to relax, read and enjoy nature. Definitely would return!

  We were fortunate to stay in this marvelous home for the month of November and enjoy a fabulous Thanksgiving week with all 17 members of our family. We had time to entertain friends, sisters and other family members before having the children come in. They flew in from 3 different collages, from Orlando and Chicago. The airport run was a busy one but we are thankful it is close by in CC. The home is spread out and comfortable for large familes with a sprawling back porch that is wonderful for morning coffee and bird watching. We saw so many different migrating ducks come flying in after their long voyage to their wintering grounds right there in Little Bay. It is centrally located only a few blocks away form the wonderful HEB supermarket, Walmart, doctors and dentists offices and the movie theater.. The best restaurants around are just down the road less than a mile. The dolphins cruised by each morning and the kids all enjoyed fishing off the back deck day or night. The boat lift was wonderful for us as we could keep our 24 ft Scout safe and dry out of the water at night. The boat ramp was so close at Llittle Bay so that we could use it to load up whenever we wanted to fish the jetties at Port A. The mattress were all so comfy with plenty of covers and blankets. It was very clean and neat. We loved the kitchen with all the windows surrounding the living area. We played many a game of Mexican train, "42" and taboo with the kids. The college kids seemed to enjoy it so much as they had plenty of room to spread out and catch up on one another's lives..plenty of room for quiet conversation. The 2 refrigerators came in handy as well as the spacious washers and dryers. We even had an emergency dentist intervention with an excellent results. One daughter and her family stayed at the Holiday Inn which was close by. Having the airport close by (a 45 min drive to CC) was a definite plus. We are so grateful to the Kappmeyers for allowing us to stay in their wonderful home. They were always ready to answer any questions we had and were very helpful. We would stay here again as we all agree this is the best home we have had in the 22 years of coming down to Rockport.

  When I was planning a get togrther with friends for my wifes 30th birthday I new we were going to have a blast reguardless of where we were staying.Along with this beautiful spacious house our guests were able to fish,relax,stay in and sleep or whatever they needed to do on this getaway/vacation.Every one in our party of 16 had a terrific time and cannot wait to do it again cause this home was so easy to just feel at home in.Also out of the five or so rentals in Rockport i have stayed at this one has to be hands down the most enjoyable.

  The home was clean, bright, and nice. It accomodated our entire family nicely. Our three daughters are grown, married and have 2 children each; we also have a nephew who is like our own who was there. The kitchen has everything one needs. The sunsets from the decks and down by the water were so gorgeous. It was so relaxing. I believe the property was recently remodeled, so is nice. It's close to major grocery stores or whatever one needs. Plenty of linens. Our family hopes to go again.

  Our stay at this house was great! It has a lot of room, and is perfect for family trips. Right on the water with a beautiful view, and easy access to the bay. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

  This house is absolutely amazing. It's in a wonderful location with great views. We enjoyed watching the fish and ducks in the underwater lights. We have stayed many places in Rockport, and this is by far the most beautiful! It is perfect for a big group. The boat lift and dock were great. We loved being able to jump right in the boat and go fishing. It was very easy dealing direclty with the owners (who are very nice) for rental. We spent 5 days here....we didn't want to leave....and we can't wait to go back.
