This designer-owned home is situated on three secluded acres. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The property is exquisitely landscaped with mature plantings and flowers. The large pool has a waterslide and diving board, is heated, and protected by fencing and shrubs. The pool house is fully equipped with a refrigerator, sink and its own music system. A Viking grill is located on the pool deck along with a state of the art hot tub that accommodates six.
The home is surrounded by a wraparound porch featuring a wicker sofa, rocking chairs and recliners. You can select where you wish to enjoy the day according to the movements of the sun. A hammock and a (renovated) tree house adorn the large lawn.
The interior of this fully renovated home was tastefully decorated by its interior designer owner. There is a fabulous sunroom that looks out on the property where you can sit, read, listen to music through the household system, and even enjoy an intimate meal. A beautiful stone fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room which is open to the gourmet kitchen. There is a full separate dining room adjacent to a media room that contains a flatscreen TV, DVD and the sound system that runs throughout the house. The home is equipped with Wi-Fi through a desk-top computer located in the carpeted and furnished basement/playroom/office. There is a bedroom in the basement with a separate full bath.
There are four bedrooms, on the second floor,. The light-filled master is huge, has a queen-sized bed and its own bath. One other sky lighted bedroom has a queen, one a double, and the third a single with a trundle underneath. The second bathroom was gorgeously renovated in Italian marble, has a double Jacuzzi tub and a stall shower.
The home is fully equipped with linens, bath and beach towels, lobster pot, beach chairs, pool rafts and pretty much everything you could possibly want or need for your vacation. The house is only rented for two weeks in early July. The owners enjoy it the rest of the summer (and during the year). As a result, the home is not a revolving rental property that is subject to intense wear and tear. To stay in the home is to experience the comfort, luxury and peacefulness which the owners created for themselves and in which you can now share.
