This home has been upgraded and includes central heat and air, formal dinning room, 3 bedrooms, screened in front patio, large fenced back yard for pets, security system, verizon fios tv, ESPN,internet and wifi, fully furnished, well supplied kitchen. Clean and comfortable. The new Lego Land is less than ten minutes away, you can either drive or take the city bus. Disney World is about a 40 minute drive. There is a public boat launch just a few blocks away. Home is less than a half a block from Lake Howard. Clean and comfortable all you need to do is unpack. This is a large home with a fully stocked laundry room, with washer and dryer. Two large bedrooms and one smaller one, two full baths, large walk in closet in the master. Barbque on the front deck, and enjoy the warm fall and winter nights.

We stayed at this house in January 2011. It is close to everything and pet friendly. The neighbours are very nice too. The house was clean and had everything we needed to survive for 3 weeks. Whatever was missing, we mentioned to the property manager and she bought it for the house.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We purchased this home several years ago. It was orignially intended for my mothers retirement. We completely refurbished the home, but kept its original charm. She could not relocate so we completely stocked and furnished the home, and use it as a vacation rental. My wife is a social worker and I teach. We use the home several times a year when we return to Florida to relax and unwind. We enjoy it and we feel that you will to. We are pet lovers and we understand many people travel with there pets, thats why the large fenced back yard.
Why the Owner Chose Winter Haven:
We purchased this home because it was a nice quiet area, close to Disney, and Lego land. It is centrally loacted and you can go just about anywhere from this area. There is a lake 1/2 block away for boating or fishing, a park and walking trail 5 minutes away. We like to walk our dog around the lake in the evenings. It is a very large and charming home.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
While staying here, you can barbque on the front patio, dine outside and enjoy the warm nights, walk along the lake and enjoy the moonlight reflecting off the lake water. Durring the day you can go to lego land, or Disney, maybe just walk into town and have lunch at one the restraunts nearby.
