  Our 5-day stay in Poinsettia Heights was definitely one of the best vacations I've ever had. The area is perfect, a quiet residential neighbourhood close to everything, from amenities like grocery stores to fun things like the beach. People were friendly and welcoming. The house itself is perfect. It's beautifully decorated, we kept finding new things that made us exclaim and take photos. The kitchen is phenomenal, it made us want to cook elaborate meals just so we could take advantage of it! The backyard is really the house's crowning glory, the incredible lush greens and flowers and the pool make it a slice of heaven. We spent the bulk of our time lounging poolside and it couldn't have been better. From the speakers we could carry outside to the many different birds singing and flying through the backyard, it was a vacation dream come true. I would go back in a heartbeat and am already trying to figure out a way to return soon. I cannot recommend Poinsettia Heights strongly enough!

  Just spent a glorious 5 days enjoying this Poinsietta Heights home - was so sorry to have to leave. Could have easily spent a few more weeks lounging by the pool! Our stay was delightful, from the spacious and tastefully decorated house to the excellent location in close proximity to everything we needed. The beach really is just a jaunt away, but we mostly stayed poolside and relaxed in the beautiful Florida sunshine. Thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of the internet connection, the music hook ups (both indoor and outdoor) and the comprehensive kitchen and BBQ features. Just writing this is making me miss it and want to go back... Would return to this slice of paradise in a heartbeat!

  This pet friendly Florida rental was our vacation home (2 couples and 2 dogs) for the month of February 2012. The owner (Honey) was friendly, helpful and did everything to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. On arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by some of the welcome little touches (new bars of quality soap, tissues, spices for use) and a modern user friendly kitchen. Having said this, the outdoor space is the real jewel of this residence. A large private back yard that is regularly maintained by gardener's and a pool person. The pool and BBQ were welcome additions. This residence is conveniently located to all the amenities; restaurants, movie theatre, a great bakery and grocery stores. All within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed walking our dogs in the morning and using the provided his and her bikes to ride down to the beach in the afternoon. The internet access was constant and allowed us to stay in regular touch with our families. On the whole, we give this residence a 5 star rating and would not hesitate to rent it again in the future.   Leave every day life at the door! Staying here is like being transported back in time (think Mad Men), only better. Immaculate mid century period house with personal touches and modern conveniences. Everything you need for rest and relaxation: truly private backyard, pool and manicured garden, his/her bikes, gourmet kitchen, indoor/outdoor audio system, ipod dock, library, deck furniture and more. Magnificent kitchen table! Open dining/living room layout is conducive to just hanging out, and sliding doors open to the backyard/patio/pool area. Bedrooms are cool, comfy and private with plenty of room for your stuff. Quiet residential neighborhood is minutes away from airport, beach, shopping & restaurants. House manager and owner are friendly and knowledgeable before and after you visit (txt, email and phone accessible) but not pushy. Friendly little signs and instructions tell you how to work the remotes, washer/dryer, etc. A 3-ring binder tells you all about the house and local attractions, including dog parks. Super clean, kid and pet friendly. Great for families and couples. Ask about best place for yoga and massage. Check out the photos of the house as it was originally built in the entryway!

  We had an enjoyable stay at Honeymoon's home for a month. It provided all we needed while we were there, plus some extras. We spent many days lounging poolside. Shopping and the beach were also nice and close for the days we wanted to venture out of the pool. We had some unforeseen things happen that were not any fault of the property but Honeymoon went above and beyond helping us out, thank you. She was always available for any questions we might of had, very accessible. Also loved the mid-century decor through out the home.

  This rental was everything I hoped for and more. First, kudos to the owners for having such a well-maintained pool! I spent a good deal of my time there in the pool, and during my entire stay, the water was as crystal blue as if it were a private beach in the Caribbean. Second, the house is as beautiful as it looks in the photos, tastefully decorated but without any pretension, with nice touches like a fresh towels and a bar of soap on each bed when you arrive. Third, it is indeed a 10 minute drive from the beach, and when I was able to tear myself away from the pool (did I mention how great the pool was?), it was a short ride to the fresh air and cool breeze at the local beaches. Honey did a fantastic job of answering our questions and letting us know about local establishments, like the terrific bakery/cafe that's a short walk from the house. The next time I need real R&R, this house will be at the top of my list!

  What can i say .. I needed a well earned mini break close to NYC and the key word being HOT! I ended up in FL in this most magnificient of houses. Stylish ,Spacious ,Super clean ,V well appointed (great oven ,fridge dishwasher,washing machine.... even toilet paper in the bathrooms ...so perfect!) The place is so quiet and tranquil and near everything. I didnt really want to leave the house but ofcourse i did where i was 10 mins from the beach in a car and great restaurants. I truly felt the craziness of New York slip away the instant i entered this sweet home. A great great getaway... Im going back! Oooh and was it hot ? Absolutely !!

  We have done several excellent vacation rentals and this is one of the best. The house is so comfortable (roomy, great layout) and tastefully stylish that we spent most of our vacation laying by the pool in the large, private and landscaped backyard even though there is a beautiful beach a few blocks away. The layout of the house works for families or for a friend's getaway. I have already recommended this spot and I would definitely return.

  That's how I'd characterize my stay here, completely exceeding my expectations. The bungalow is set in a modest neighborhood, and is spacious, yet cozy, with everything you'd want in a home rental. The bedrooms were lovely, the kitchen first rate and the pool area, perfect, perfect, perfect! Private and lovely, we lived in the outdoor area during our stay, as befits a vacation meant to unwind and escape the daily grind. I'm a sucker for mid-century design, and this place delivered -- but without being precious or twee. I wasn't worried about breaking something, or sitting on the wrong chair. I will definitely be back, next time with my whole family.

  In a great neighborhood, close to the beach, but honestly I never wanted to leave! With a pool this big in such a huge lush garden you really never need to. Plus the house strikes a perfect chord with comfort and style. The decor is super modern and chic but still incredibly cozy and homey. Awesome attention to detail. Would definitely come back!
