Netarts bed and breakfast description
Our home is located on two acres of wooded land on Whiskey Creek Road in Netarts, Oregon. We are 3 miles north of Cape Lookout State Park and ocean beaches. We have two separate bedrooms, each with private bath and queen size bed with luxury linens. Each room is $125 per night. Check in time is between 2pm and 6pm, check out time is 11am unless other arrangements have been made.
There is a separate sitting area and dinning table for playing games watching a movie from our collection or listening to your favorite music. You may invite our cat, Nebbie, to join you, or just enjoy from afar. A scrumptious breakfast will be included with the room rental and served by your hosts in your pirvate sitting area with views of the grounds and large vegtable garden. . Dinner specialties that are out of this world, and picnic baskets for your day trips can be provided at your request.for an additional cost. Whenever possible, always local ingredients will be used and the meals are prepared by hosts. Jim is a Chef for 35 years and he and his wife Katie enjoy intertaining and cooking to show off their talents. Our grounds are quiet, with lots of humming birds, robins and black- caped chickadees. When the grass has been freshly mowed, the robins are at their happiest. During the summer you can sit in the hammock and enjoy the quiet and our grounds while watching the beautiful sunsets.
Our home is about 1.5 hours from Portland. It’s a very nice drive with the occasional wild life viewing.
Enjoy all Netarts Bay has to offer in this great family entertaining home. Easy access to Netarts Bay Boat Launch or the ocean beaches is just a short walk away. During your stay you can try out the famous clamming in Netarts Bay. This does require a shell fish license, approximately $7.00 and it can be purchased at Freddy’s or Netarts RV Boat Launch just up the road. They also rent boats for day use for crabbing and supply all the gear. As the tide recedes and the mudflats grow mature Bald Eagles alight onto the flats near the waters edge along with Herons. During wet weather you can be a storm watcher and then a beach comber. Don’t forget the Tillamook Creamery and the best ice cream cones this side of the bay.

Perfect place for relaxation and to get your mind out of the city craziness. Jim and Katie are great hosts and know how to keep a neat, clean and cozy place. Very comfortable beds and great food. Great location to travel up and down the Oregon coast for sightseeing. I recommend this place to travelers or anyone that wants to spend a couple days with peace of mind. Thanks Katie and Jim.

Married at Cape Lookout
We were married here at Cape Lookout!! Chef James and Katie did all of our catering; it was incredible!!! We went over what we were wanting as far as a dinner and they created an incredible menu for us and within budget!!! Since we live in another state Katie helped me locate different vendors such as a local bakery and a place for our rentals for our tables and chairs. They were both so helpful with an event that tends to be so stressful. I must say it was so smooth and without any stress. We plan on coming back!!!
