  Our stay at Tres Regalos in Ruth's condo was wonderful! The condo was exactly like the pictures and more spacious than expected. It fit our group of 7(4 adults and 3 teenagers) really well. We loved starting our day relaxing on the deck with the beautiful view and comfortable furniture. The pool was great with plenty of loungers. The property is beautiful and the employees helpful and friendly! The location close to town but not in town was nice and quiet. Ruth was very helpful answering MANY of our questions,as it was our first time to Costa Rica. I would definitely recommend this property!

  Thanks so much! The month I spent at your condo was just what I needed to recharge this winter! This was my second time staying at Tres Regalos but my first stay in this unit. Tres Regalos is definitely one of the best spots in town. I really appreciated being in the relatively quiet North end of Jaco. The grounds are always beautifully maintained, including the pool right outside your window! Having a private gate at the entrance is wonderful for peace of mind though the neighborhood is safe in general. And the 24 hour grounds staff are awesome and eager to help in any way possible, whether making reservations for a restaurant, locating a rental car or troubleshooting an internet connection. Dan & Ruth's condo is wonderfully decorated and fully stocked with everything one could need and then some! I ate most of my meals out, but the kitchen is outfitted to satisfy any gourmet chef. The condo feels like home with warm paint colors and wonderful local art work. Sunset views from the family room and balcony were amazing as are the Ocean views all day long! Dan & Ruth's outdoor furniture is easily the most comfortable I've ever come across, making the balcony a great spot for a little afternoon siesta! There's plenty to do in Jaco and the surrounding area. A few recommendations would include a visit to Rafa's Monkey Tour in Damas near Quepos. Rafa calls himself the "Father of the Monkeys" and will take you on a boat ride through the mangrove forest where you can hand feed the monkeys! Zip Lining in the canopy was a lot of fun too! There's also World Class fishing just North of Jaco at Los Suenos (Play Herradura). Thanks again! I definitely hope to return next year! Jake

  We spent 10 nights in Ruth and Dan's condo. It was a great experience from start to finish. Ruth spent some time on the phone with me, prior to booking, and offered lots of helpful information regarding the choice of this location in Jaco. The condo had a great view out toward the beach, as well as the jungle hill to the north - excellent for sunsets on the balcony! I'm so glad that we chose this location- the beach is much bigger and cleaner at this end. We were 5 in all, and fit comfortably (although my adult daughter called the single bunk her crib). It was very clean and well appointed -everything you could ever require to cook a meal was available (suggest adding some barbeque tools?). The staff were very helpful in calling taxis for us and were extremely friendly. Ruth has a wonderful book filled with recommendations for restaurants and activities, which proved to be enormously helpful. The surfing was terrific- the ocean was like soup! Manuel Antonio should not be missed - we rented a car for a day to go there. I highly recommend paying for a guide- he spotted all kinds of wildlife that we would have just walked right by. Favourite restaurant: Los Amigos or Tsunami Sushi (half-price rolls on Wednesday nights!) I would recommend this spot to all my friends! Roberta Alexander

  Situated on the very best part of Jaco's beach, this place is a true gem. Tres Regalos feels like a resort-- without the drawbacks. Its full time staff, beautifully maintained grounds, chlorine-free pool (with outdoor shower), and spectacular views were ideal for a week of pure relaxation. It's an easy walk to downtown Jaco and an even easier jaunt onto the softest, cleanest part of the beach. The fully-equipped kitchen made our stay more than comfortable, allowing us to eat in just as many meals as we did out. The place, as a whole, feels fresh and new. Not to be missed are the views from the balcony, especially during a spectacular lightning shows at night. From the owners to the on-site staff, everyone is so helpful and friendly. If you're looking for pura vida, you will find it here!

  I recently stayed in this condo with four other people and had an amazing time. The view from the balcony is incredible and the condo has everything you need for a long, comfortable vacation. It's very central but not right in the middle of town. I would definitely go again.

  Ruth's condo is everything and more as described. Spacious, nicely decorated, clean and right on the beach. Not to mention the best location in town! Ruth gave us personal attention, answering many questions, since this was our first time in Costa Rica. The moment we arrived and were greeted by the nicest staff at the gate, we felt like at home. The place has everything you might need. The beach, the river, the jungle and Eco-clean pool is right there.We loved Jaco and nearby towns. We cant wait to be able to travel back to Costa Rica and rent from Ruth again!! Thank you!!!

• Great Condo

  We stayed at Tres Regalos for five days in early April and had a fantastic time. Our kids (ages 8, 11, and 13) loved the pool and the beach. The beach had great waves for the bigger kids and was intersected by a small river with a calm tidal pool for the younger kids. On the other side of the river was a rocky section of beach that was great for exploring and shell hunting at low tide. The condo was extremely spacious and very well furnished, equipped, and decorated. We especially liked the large balcony which had great views of the pool beach and forest. The town Jaco was a five minute drive away and had plenty of shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

  We stayed at this condo for a week with our two young kids (3 and 6) and were joined for 5 of the days by another couple and their three kids. The condo was plenty big enough for all to stay comfortably. It was perfectly appointed, with all of the ammenities we needed - new kitchen appliances, linens, LCD TV, Wii, etc. etc. A highlight was the deck with super comfortable furniture to lounge out on, overlooking the pool with views of the surf. The condo was in a great location right on the beach at the end of a dead end road, and felt very secure. Not only was the beach right there, but the nearby river at the end of the beach provided a great tubing opportunity within a 2 min. walk for the kids to "shoot the rapids" with the incoming tide. Many amenities, including a fun beach bar, were within walking distance. Despite negative reviews of Jaco from the guidebooks, we found it to be a perfect little beach town, with all the shops, restaurants, and conveniences you might expect. Add in the fact that the nature reserves, zip lining, surfing, sailing, and fishing were all within a short drive this was a perfectly relaxing vacation! We also took advantage of hiring a cook contacted through the staff to cook dinner for us a couple of night. Local cooking / great food / reasonable price.......quite a treat!!

  The property was fantastic. Right on the beach, clean with comfortable furniture and all the necessary appliances. Very close to the city center. Balcony overlooks the nice pool and the ocean. The place was very safe and everyone from the maid, gate keeper and owners were very friendly. Would definitely stay again. The owner was very responsive and provided very helpful advice on transfers, rental cars and activities.
