  The view of the harbor was so lovely! Kids loved the kayak provided and spent hours outside on the play structure with curly slide and playhouse. We walked around downtown Gig Harbor one day during the Street Scramble and painted pottery at the coffee house. We had a very relaxing time enjoying playing board games, watching movies on the huge flat screen TV, and sitting in the hot tub. Owners were very responsive and left gifts for the kids (and wine for me). Yum! Thanks!!

  This home is in a terrific location and provides breathtaking panoramic views of Gig Harbor. It was comfortable for my family gathering. we would definitely go back again.

  Seven of us spent a great 3 day weekend in this wonderful four bedroom home overlooking the water in Gig Harbor. The view of the water from the living room, kitchen, upstairs bedroom and downstairs family room, as well as the upper deck and downstairs patio area was absolutely spectacular! The deck was so spacious and the furniture was so comfortable, we could have spent the entire weekend just looking out at the water! Unfortunately it was a little too chilly to sit outside long, so we spent much of our time enjoying the view from the spacious living room, with plenty of seating for all of us! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need to cook and we did do a lot of that! The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of bedding and towels. The only thing that made it a little difficult was that there are three bedrooms upstairs, but no bathroom. But because the rest of the house was so comfortable, the people sleeping upstairs didn't complain about making the trip downstairs to use the bathroom. Krista was very helpful and answered any questions we had about the house very quickly. We would definitely rent this house again!

  Loved it! Such a great place to get away from work stresses and crazy fast paced life. We enjoyed the piano, the hot tub, the wii, and doing puzzles and games at the house. We also enjoyed a fun family friendly museum and canoeing just down the road, oyster and clam digging, and great Indian, Thai, Mexican, and seafood restaurants. We'll be back!

  I spent four enjoyable days in Gig Harbor with five family members, and the rental home helped make the trip so enjoyable, that we will do it again. The house is immaculately clean, comfortable and well appointed, but the wall length glass doors and view of the entire harbor is breathtaking, as is the amount of light entering the home, creating a refreshingly relaxing and airy feeling. Whether indoors, or outdoors on the large decks, this is a prime location to enjoy Gig Harbor. The constant bird activity on the water and in the sky, would delight any nature lover, and next time I’ll bring my camera. I could go on and on about how wonderful this rental house is, but I’ll stop now, and rate it as excellent, high quality, reasonably priced, and a true value for those investing in a family vacation.

  We understood this to be a premier property, We were not disappointed and our guests unanimously voted to return next year. The property was exceptionally well equipped, spotless with a view of the harbor second to none and certainly complies with its listing. Our family enjoyed the changing reflections on the water as the tide rose and fell, while the sun moved from East to West. Relaxing in the evening sitting on the deck just watching the twinkling multicolored light reflections on the water, interspersed from time to time by personal and fishing boats. We were lucky the nights were clear but cold, without the gas heater on the deck sitting outside would not have been comfortable. My son, amongst other things a photographer, was fascinated with the marine bird life from buffle heads and ducks to larger birds, herons and eagles actively working the harbor for a meal all being watched by cormorants standing drying their wings. Unfortunately I had not thought of arranging a boat, nevertheless it was fun to see Kayakers scoot under the dock, jetty or pier depending on terminology. Kayaking is a popular completive Gig Harbor sport. My only word of caution, make sure your brakes are working before descending the drive from the road. As you may have guessed, I have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay, correction, home to stay, as my family all remarked it feels like a home, not a rental property.   This was our first experience with VRBO and it was wonderful. The house we stayed at was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. The view was breathtaking. The house and the view were even better than the pictures! The house easily accommodated all eight of us. It was nice so for the whole family to be able to be together rather than several hotel room. The owners of the property were great to work with and very responsive. We are so grateful that they were so willing to share their home with us because it made our vacation a trip we will never forget. We had just the best time and our trying to figure out a way to come back to this property again. We will definitely use VRBO for future vacations.

  Beautiful views, terrific electronics – HDTV, Tivo, Netflix no charge – and very comfortable king bed. Accurate description and images. Good communication with the owner. Small master bath and low ceiling beams, so not ideal for a tall person. Otherwise, a nice home outside a pretty town and with a terrific vantage point. Comfortable furniture throughout, including on the porch. We never tired of watching the lights come on in the town across the water.

The rest of the basement ceiling is 7'9" high. As a side note, the ceilings and beams in the rest of the house are of normal ceiling height or above.   This rental was amazing and probably worth well more than what we paid. The home was spotless, very comfortable and right on the water. There was also a great dock with power that we used with our boat during the stay. Amazing views of downtown Gig Harbor and lots of fun to see the boats come into and leave the marina. Very short distance to restaurants, groceries & shopping The owners were very helpful and thoughtful having the home was so well supplied, everything that we could have needed was right there. We had a great experience and I would highly recommend this property.
