I had a wonderful time in this beautifully furnished home in Weaverville. My dog and I enjoyed long walks every afternoon admiring the beautiful scenery. The drive to Asheville was gorgeous albeit a bit long for me. The owners are fantastic and very responsive. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the home was, it was like being in a five star resort with no neighbors!

Owner response: Rusty thank you for taking the time to write a wonderful review. It has been a true pleasure to have you as our guest. I just returned from a short visit to the house and you are right the drive into Asheville is absolutely gorgeous. Each time I make the first visit into FUN Asheville, it always feels like a long ride, when it actually takes about 15 minutes . We have that feeling because living in Miami we are accustomed to having everything around the corner! Our family would like to congratulate you on the purchase of you new home…… hope to see you in Asheville one day! Mark & Marilyn
Great Family Vacation
Great Family Vacation
This was greatest rental home we've ever stayed in! We came with our two sons, their wives, our 10 month old granddaughter and my brother. We'd seen the pictures and read that the kitchen was fully equipped but everything exceeded our expectations. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed (including measuring cups, plenty of dishes and cutlery, a pitcher for tea and even casserole dishes)! All of the bathrooms were well stocked with nice towels, soap and an ample supply of toilet paper. The den that my brother used even had a foam topper for the pull-out bed and plenty of linens. That was a big plus since most sleeper sofas aren't the most comfortable. We went into Asheville and did a little shopping before eating at Tupelo Honey one day. Another day we went to Sky Top Orchards and picked honeycrisp apples. Our son, daughter in law and granddaughter went hiking up a mountain trail somewhere nearby (which they really enjoyed). The last day we did go by the Well Bred bakery on the way out for breakfast. It was wonderful as promised. This house was so well equipped that we did feel like we were staying in someones home where all of our needs had been anticipated. One last thing I appreciated - the closets actually had clothes hangers! I had packed some because every house we'd ever rented had none. I had also packed extra washcloths, dishtowels and pot-holders (some things that had been absent from previous vacation houses) which were all unnecessary. Having all of the information in the booklets on the table was also very thoughtful and helpful. Thanks so much for making our vacation home for the week such a pleasing place to stay!

Look no further! Marilyn was a dream to work with, throughout the booking and concluding with our stay. We needed to reach Marilyn during our stay and she and her care-taker were immediately ready to help us out. Needing a specific date, she worked with my schedule to accomodate our travel dates. The house was very, very clean, well-decorated and with a well-appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds. No need to bring anything from home - no sheets, no towels, no dishes, no special pots and pans - everything is here! It was truly a wonderful and relaxing vacation! Coffee on the back porch and grilled dinners on the back porch were two of the many highlights. I would stay here again and would recommend anyone looking for a lovely house, in a charming setting, outside of Asheville, to also stay here. Nearby Weaverville, with its Well Bred Bakery, is a must-visit. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and an easy 20 minutes to Asheville. A perfect house for our family of 5, but could easily and comfortably accomodate more folks. Don't miss this one.

we could not have asked for a more appealing and relaxing place to gather our family. An exceptional home in a beautiful setting made the evenings on the deck and around the grille something very special to remember. The home is as advertised; spacious, beautifully decorated, well appointed and sitting on land within the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains with excellent hiking very near by. We hated to leave but all family members agreed that it was a special way to gather and it will be hard to top this experience; but we will try!

Great house for a NC mountain vacation
Great house for a NC mountain vacation
My family had a great time staying here. It gave us good access to Asheville restaurants, Pisgah national forest, and attractions along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house itself is very nice with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is very nice and made it easy to cook for the five of us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental to friends and family

Lovely, lovely home.
Lovely, lovely home.
This house exceeded our expectations. Tastefully appointed, quiet , secluded, yet close to Asheville, and the parkway. Vey, very comfortable beds and other furnishings. We had the loveliest time. The wild turkeys were our alarm clock. Watched them every morning from the porch. No sightings of bears, though I got quite the start from a black lab who visited a couple times. We love the Asheville area and hope to return again and again, hopefully back to this house. Much thanks to our hosts. You have created a truly beautiful and comfortable space.

We enjoyed our stay so much in this spacious yet cozy mountain home. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and the great room had plenty of room for all 8 of us to spread out and enjoy the fireplace and mountain views. We cooked in one night and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also went out to eat in nearby Asheville and Weaverville, and enjoyed some hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway (5 minutes away!). Wild turkeys greeted us on the driveway upon our arrival, adding to the feel of getting away in nature. Great memories!

Wonderful wedding weekendFrancie
Wonderful wedding weekendFrancie
This house is exceptional. It is lovely and extremely comfortable. My husband and I remarked," we have never slept away from home on a bed as comfortable as ours". We were in town for the wedding of my daughter on my son's organic farm. I catered the wedding for 35 using the lovely kitchen as well as my son's. We had a small family dinner in the lovely dining room Friday night and the ambiance was wonderful. The home is outfitted with lovely, upbeat dishes and even though I brought my own, I used some for the contrast. The garage was a great place to store and organize my dishes and supplies. My family was so comfortable with the location, we hope to visit it annually. I can truly say while I knew the home was lovely from the pictures, it way exceeded my expectations and the owners were a dream to work with.

It is rewarding when someone recognizes the hard work and creativity that makes a house a home. We look forward to you coming back and visiting again.
Can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this home is. We had a group of 8 women celbrating very long friendships and a big birthday year for all of us! The home was so comfortable and well equipped, beautiful details throughout! We could not have asked for more. Spent much time on the beautiful deck, making new memories we will treasure forever. Close enough to all of the activities we were looking for.
