This is the perfect house to spend a ski week or weekend at Okemo or Stratton. The house has 3 bedrooms including a large master suite and 2.5 baths, sleeps 10 people on beds, and is located approximately one minute from downtown Ludlow and 5 minutes from Okemo.
The house has all of the amenities necessary for an ideal ski weekend, including wireless internet, garage parking, a two story brick fireplace, a full kitchen, and a spacious living area with a flatscreen TV, cable, and DVD player. The dining room is attached to a large living room with 20 foot ceilings and nearly floor-to-ceiling windows offering a great view of the woods and mountain views to the South. The house is set on a secluded lot offering plenty of privacy.
The master bedroom has a queen bed with a two story vaulted ceiling, a private bathroom, walk-in closet, and attached sunroom with loveseat and TV. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds (sleeps 4), and the other has two twin beds. The couch in the living room also unfolds into a sleepaway bed with space for two more. The house can sleep 10 on beds.
The full kitchen has a stove, full refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and garbage disposal, and is fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There is a also gas grill on the back deck.
The house is located approximately one mile from downtown Ludlow, which offers easy access to shops and restaurants, and is a 5 minute drive from Okemo. Stratton is only 25 minutes away, and Killington is about 35 minutes away, both are beautiful drives along Route 100.

House is lovely and VERY close to mountain. We had a blast hanging out by the fire and all the kitchen supplies, and towels etc were provided. Our only complaint was the odd clanging the heater made during the night.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

We just stayed 4 nights at this property and everybody loved it. The owners were very easy to deal with, they left instructions for everything we needed to know and their phone numbers for contact. The location is perfect, it really is 1 min to shopping and 5 min to skiing. It comfortably accommodated 5 adults, 3 kids and a baby. There were plenty of soft towels, blankets and pillows. The house is beautiful, very well-maintained, clean and organized (even the basement is clean & tidy). The living/dining area gets tons of light and provides beautiful views. The huge fireplace is great and we had more than enough wood for it in the garage. The kitchen has anything you need, we ended up cooking at home every night. The wrap-around terrace is great, it has a grill that we used. There is a small media room right off the living room which allowed the kids to watch TV while the adults were having a conversation but still keeping an eye on them. The driveway was clean and on the days it snowed, the snowplow service was promptly there. The owners also left us their contact info. We really enjoyed our time in this house and would stay there if we are headed to Okemo again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Great home! Love the fireplace and wrap around deck. We took our 3 girls here for the first time in 2009 and come back every year. The home is set back so privacy is assured. The woods that surround the home remind you that you're in Vermont! Very close to Okemo and Ludlow. The owners of this property were very easy to deal with and the home itself was very clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this as a rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
