Beautiful new house at Thunder Cove Darnley, one of PEI's most sought after beaches. If your tired of dated, ill equipped beach houses come stay in our brand new house and enjoy a modern open concept with all new furniture and supplies to make your vacation a great one. The house sleeps 8 total with four bedrooms and two full baths. We have a large kitchen that is fully equipped. We also have a huge deck with grill, tables, Adirondack chairs and more.

If you like crowded beaches this is definitely NOT the place for you. There miles of beautiful quiet beaches with sand that ranges in colour from deep reds to soft whites for endless walking and swimming right at your doorstep. The large property is perfect for afternoon croquet with coktails. The sunsets are endless. The cottage amenities are clean, modern and very comfortable. The local towns offer excellent fresh seafood. We had a wonderful time at this cottage and look forward to a return visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We booked two weeks ending June 13 and despite having cooler and rainier days than expected had a good time. Property was in new condition and for the most part well equipped. Exceptions were stove which couldn't heat up adequately for baking no end tables or lamps in bedrooms and no spices at all (we left salt & pepper we bought). Queen beds were comfortable, but bunk mattresses were thin and not suitable for post college adults. Also, loft layout favors families with young children, not those who wish to stay up later as noise will carry upstairs. Local highlights included beach (free) about a 10 minute walk or short bike or car ride where bonfires are allowed, Ship to Shore restaurant for inexpensive and top shelf seafood (great mussels and Billy Bi soup and mussel salad...try the trout too!), and nice area in general for biking.Recommended for: Families with young children.

This brand new cottage is one of the nicest we have ever seen. The workmanship in this cottage is of very high quality and all the amenities necessary to enjoy a vacation are right here, such as a washer and dryer and a very well stocked kitchen. "The beach is quite clean and not over populated which is well appreciated for those seeking relaxation. We had an excellent time and give this accommodation two thumbs up!"Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
