  Hi Lee, I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your home. We had such a wonderful time! We had sunshine everyday and temps in the 70's which was great considering we still have snow and cold temps here. Your place is beautiful and so comfortable. We loved the backyard. We ate breakfast out by the pool every morning. You really do a great job of providing everything in the house that your guests could possibly need. It was certainly the most well equipped place we have stayed at. The guide to West Palm was also very helpful to us. We referred to it many times, and we enjoyed all of the things that we visited. It is a beautiful area and we had a great time! Thanks so much for everything!!

  The home is charming and very comfortable. Love the decorations. We went to West Palm for the Cardinals Spring Training. We were 20 minutes away from Roger Dean Stadium. Lee and David provided a wonderful booklet of restaurants, points of interest, shopping, etc. Although we had been in the area several times prior to this visit, the booklet was still invaluable. What a personal touch!! The City Diner, which is within walking distance, was a fun place and the food (especially the corned beef hash) was great. The pool and terrace area were so inviting and it was so relaxing - sipping wine by the pool was such fun. Lee and David are great owners and certainly add a personal touch to the rental. I will miss my e-mails. I feel like I know the both. I would certainly recommend the property and hope we can return.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  This home has the best of both worlds - great central location and remarkable privacy. Very clean and well kept - there is definitely a pride of ownership here. I would strongly recommend this home if you are considering a visit to West Palm.

  I am usually so uncomfortable when I am out of my space; but my time spent in this lovely home was very comfortable and relaxing.The owners have done a wonderful job decorating the place (very tasteful) and have provided everything you need to feel at home.The bed in the master suite was so comfortable that I just melted into it each night.That's not something I can say of any other place I have stayed while vacationing.More often then not I toss and turn, hate the pillows and just wake up feeling like I had no sleep.,but not here.A little soft music and as soon as my head hit the pillows I was out for the night, feeling rested and refreshed in the morning.Off to the kitchen to make coffee ,head out beneath the avacado tree to watch the cute little lizards and tree toads rustling through the foilage.What a great start for my day.Time to call City Diner and order breakfast for everyone (the food there is to die for). It's located just up the street so it would still be hot by the time I put it on dishes, got it to the table and woke the family up to eat. Unfortunately it rained everyday we were there so we didn't get to do many of the things available to us.It also cut our sightseeing short.That did stink a bit as there is so much to do.The plans were deep sea fishing and parasiling just to mention a few. Both very close to the house. And had the house not been so cozy and comfortable our vacation would have been ruined, but as it turned out...was the most restful and relaxing time away from home I've ever experienced. We watched television, played a few board games(also provided by the owners) and I actually finished a book I had been trying to read for several weeks. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful pool. The saltwater was such a nice touch. Most pools are overchlorinated and burn my eyes and nose so bad that I'm not able to be in them long.Not this pool I spent hours in it...even during the rain and at night. I loved the pool.And the landscaping was fabulous. I would go into the bedroom with the garden view and sit and stare out the window. I framed several photos of the garden for my office. Although it rained much of the time we did get out in between showers. With everything being so conveniently located we were able to pull it off.We went to the ocean,several restaurants and shopping. All within minutes away. I'm running out of space so need to say the owners are just wonderful and go above and beyond to make you feel at home

  Went down for a family reunion. What an amazing home this is, and only 7 minutes from the airport. There are restaurants near by and it is only 10 minutes drive to CityPlace. From the decor to the landscaping, everything was perfect. The homeowners have thought of everything you could ever need or want. No detail was left untouched. Our hosts were very gracious and made us feel very welcome. Lovely pool, large patio deck with BBQ. We could always find a shady place to sit somewhere in the yard at any point in the day. We thouroughly enjoyed spending our evenings sitting out by the pool talking under the twinkling lights of the avacado tree. I brought along my Mom and Aunt, and having everything on one level was a real bonus, no stairs to worry about. We all had our own bedrooms, the main is quite private and has its own ensuite. Would definitely come back to this hidden oasis!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  The house is located in the midst of a colorful neighborhood, a couple of strolling blocks away from the inter coastal waterway, and right off of the charm of Antique Row on Dixie Hwy. It is gated and unassuming. Step in and you will be surprised at what the owners have done with the place. The decor is elegant and rich. There is nothing cheap. Quality furniture, dinner ware, appliances, bedding -- luxury you can feel and appreciate without feeling out of place. Master bedroom is large with curtains that can block out all light. There's a salt water, solar heated pool in the back with a great sitting/dining/lounging area which affords both privacy in the sun and shade. There's a super-star kitchen that we put through its paces during our family holiday feasting which really is the reason our time there was so harmonious. Plenty of room to move around, put on some good music, pour the wine, and you've got a nice flow of food coming from the fridge to the stove to the table and then the dishwasher. Both sets of parents were comfortable; our little girl played on the floor in the sitting area... Everyone had something to do and somewhere to be in a synergistic flow which I accredit to the design of the house. Everyone had their own bedroom (3 in all) which were all decorated beautifully, with plenty of closet space, fresh towels and extra pillows to accommodate all guests. The owners Lee and David are wonderful hosts. They prepare you with all that you need for your stay and send you via email a sweet and informative "Personal Guide Book" to the area's specialties and attractions before you get there. They are conscientious, considerate, communicative, and cultured. Without ever even meeting us, we were made to feel at home. Kudos to Lee and David for providing such a homey vacation rental. We look forward to returning and to enjoying some more of the quiet charm that awaits at El Cortijo!

  The location of this beautiful home was perfect for us. Situated just 5 short driving minutes from the airport meant we didn't spend time getting to the house once we landed at West Palm airport. This also meant that we didn't have to awaken in the small hours of the morning prior to departure to make our early morning flight. Our hosts David and Lee went above and beyond to ensure our trip was complete. Aside from the excellent brochure they composed and supplied to us online they also made themselves available for any questions we may have had via telephone. Because we were new to the area we most appreciated the directions they gave us for restaurants, shopping and the ocean. This saved an enormous amount of time we might otherwise have wasted during our short week seeking these locations. Additionally we may have missed some of the highlights without their help which would have been a shame considering the sites we saw. The house was beautifully designed and very comfortable to be in. As someone who enjoys cooking, the kitchen was a dream and hosted everything (and more) than I needed. I am even going to borrow some of their design ideas for my own home. :) The master bedroom was my favorite because it was separate from the rest of the home and had it's own double french doors on to the pool area. Laying in bed and being able to fall to sleep while looking at the pool and gardens is something I won't soon forget. I would also like to comment on how spacious the master bathroom was. Most impressive was the cleanliness of the entire home which is most important to me. Thank you for an outstanding time away and we will return sooner than later. Sincerely, Tony and John

  I stayed at this breathtaking home for 10 days. The decor of the house is picture perfect and in fact, the photos online don't do it justice. I was overwhelmed at the tropical landscaping in both the front and back yard of the home. I appreciated the privacy the home offers with no back yard neighbours. From the bedroom to the living room and kitchen were all comfortable as well as wonderfully equipped. There was nothing I needed to complete my stay. This was my first trip to the Palm Beaches and I found the location convenient and easy to get to everything from the ocean to shopping and restaurants. My favourite part of staying at this home was "everything"! I am looking forward to my next holiday here, Thank you for a memorable vacation! Debby.

  I stayed in this beautiful paradise for one week. Initially I chose this home for the close proximity to the ocean. I was so elated with the landscaping and salt water pool that I only visited the ocean once durning my stay. From the moment I entered this beautifully decorated home I felt so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. The interior of the house was impeccable and the kitchen had everything (and more) that anyone could ask for. Vacation time is very precious to me and this home helped make the perfect vacation.
