    We had our high school reunion here with 12 girls and we had a great time. The house has plenty of beds, large living areas for great conversation and great access to Lake Austin. Sam was very helpful throughout the entire rental process. The views from the house are fabulous! The house was perfect for our large group.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

    Rented this house with a group of 14 guys. We were pleasantly surprised by the ample and comfortable sleeping. The living area, kitchen, upper deck, pool, and dock areas were each large enough for a group of our size. Access to the lake is easy -- just down a flight of stairs. We were able to rent a party boat that picked us up directly from the dock. Transport to and from Austin (about 30 mins by car) was much simpler than we expected. The owner is responsive and laid back. Go here. Have a great time.

    This house was amazing. I used it to host a bachelor party for 12 during SXSW in 2013. Sam was very accommodating and understanding. The house was beautiful and unbelievably unique. Everybody had a great time and we were able to sleep comfortably. The view was amazing. The area was beautiful. We were worried about playing music because everyone forgot to bring a portable speaker system. Turns out, we didn't even need one because the main TV in the living room had a great sound system. There is also tons of seating for everyone to gather around. Would love to stay here again, or at any of Sams houses in the area.

    This was an awesome place for our family of 10 to stay and have a great time. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was a great gathering place for everyone and had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed diving off the dock into lake Austin. My personal favorite was coffee in the morning sitting on one of the decks enjoying the views "to die for". All the rooms were spacious and bright and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. I would recommend this home for anyone who is looking for a good time, plenty of space, and views out of this world. By the way Sam was very nice to deal with also.

    This house was the prefect get away for our boys trip and for any adult or family trip with older kids. The lake was great to swim in and the house has a great deck with awesome view. Overall the experience was easy and it was great to have a home base during the day before hitting Austin at night.

    I organized a vacation weekend for myself and 11 close friends for the celebration of my brother's upcoming wedding. Our accommodations could not have been better, and Sam could not have been a more gracious host. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and well-kept. The views and access to Lake Austin are amazing! I definitely plan on returning soon! Thank you Sam for a terrific, memorable stay! 5 Stars! CD Fort Worth, Texas

  • Great Lake house

    We had a fairly decent group of guys show up for a bach party and it was a total success thanks to this house. Location was great, the lake was perfect and overall we had a pretty rad time. Any large group looking for a good deal for a weekend of relaxing and having fun in Austin should be stoked to stay here. The dock, fire pit and patio were a great place to for everyone to hang out, swim etc. Not to mention all the other rooms, balcony's. Shuttles and cab rides downtown or to the airport weren't the least bit a problem, and were relatively cheap as well.

    A group of 12 of us spent a long weekend at this house and had an amazing time. We had plenty of space and loved the boat dock, the fire pit and the balcony. It's a great house to relax at, and it's location makes it very easy to access the lake and the city for more excitement.

    I put on an annual golf outing with college/work friends. This year we decided to come to Austin. This house worked perfect for our group. It accomodated 24 of us. We had a blast and Sam was a great host. Amazing views, comfortable housing. Would recommend to anyone and if we come back to Austin, this is where we're staying.

    This house was AWESOME! We held our staff retreat this year on lake Austin and the house was perfect for us. The living room area was huge and allowed us all to be together. The house is right on the water and we were even able to jump right off the dock into the lake. We cooked all our meals in the gigantic kitchen and the dining room sat all 12 of us. We unfortunately missed out on the fire pit because it was raining, but there is a really cool fire pit right on the lake on the top level of the dock. I recommend this house to any big groups, really cool experience!

    We had a part of 11 people and this place was perfect. The property is huge and the house is very spacious. There are several decks showing the beautiful views of Lake Austin and indoor gathering spaces for the group. We rented a boat for the day which was dropped off right at the private dock out front. Management was very responsive throughout the weekend and they immediately sent over staff upon request

    We were recently using this property for a week during an event and it was a great base. The house itself sits on top of the hill leading down to Lake Austin. With numerous bedrooms & plenty of outside space it was the perfect home we were looking for during our stay. Our host Sam ensured that we had everything that we needed and more. We can't wait to come back to Austin & stay here!

    We had a corporate gathering at Sam’s house. The house was perfect for this, it had a large open area where we all gathered to watch our Company videos on the large screen TV. We then had a gourmet dinner in a beautiful dining room that was prepared in the house’s very large kitchen. The house sits on a bluff with spectacular views up and down Lake Austin. With all the levels and angles the house itself is a work of art. In summary we enjoyed staying there and plan to do it again. It

    My Company is from Dallas and we stayed at Sam’s house for a corporate get together with our CEO. It is really cool, as you walk in you are greeted by this life like manikin butler and a grand piano, first class interior for sure. The house jets off a bluff and has simply spectacular views up and down Lake Austin from any of its decks. We spent much of our time on the house’s upper deck talking and enjoying ourselves. We even took the kayak out on the lake.
